Statewide alert issued for two missing children

Alyssa and Peyton Lowery were last seen with their father Jessee Lowery.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide endangered child alert Tuesday for two Greenville, Tenn. children who were not returned after visitation with Jessee Lowery, their non-custodial father who has a violent criminal history.

Jessee Lowery has outstanding warrants in Greenville, Tenn. Greenville police officers suspect Lowery may be headed to Mobile, Ala., but did not have a direction of travel.

Alyssa is a 3-year-old white female. She has long, curly strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes and is 2 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 30 pounds. She wears small, dark blue-rimmed glasses. Alyssa was last seen wearing a white Easter dress with blue and pink polka dots or khaki capri pants and a yellow sun top.

Peyton is a 5-year-old white male. He has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes and is 4 feet tall and weighs 50 pounds. Peyton was last seen wearing khaki shorts and white T-shirt with blue writing.

A custodial interference warrant has been issued for Jessee Lowery.

I guess we should 'assume' they were taken on Easter Sunday?!? What about a vehicle description?
