Tennessee doctors are gearing up to fight high malpractice insurance costs, which have forced some of them to drop certain patient care and procedures, a move that in turn has left holes in the access to care of some rural communities.
The Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) this month hosted a town hall meeting bringing together close to 500 of its 6,600 members to discuss the problem.
