The two men charged in the August murder of a 39-year-old Hermitage mother and entertainment producer, Veronica Bozza, pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning.
Timothy R. Bozza, 41, and Coy J. Cotham Jr., 37, entered their pleas before Judge Cheryl Blackburn. They are both charged with first-degree murder of Bozza’s estranged wife, whom police believe Cotham shot multiple times in her living room on Aug. 29, within an hour after she dropped off her 8-year-old son with her husband.
Police also charged Cotham with especially aggravated burglary for allegedly fleeing the scene with Veronica Bozza’s iPhone.
Timothy Bozza and Cotham’s arraignment date had been set for last week but was delayed a week while Bozza sought a lawyer.
