A suspicious duffel bag found on a bench outside the Criminal Justice Center was a bag of clothes, police said.

The portion of the building occupied by the police department was evacuated after the black bag was found outside the building at 8:30 a.m., according to Metro police spokesman Don Aaron, who noted the plaza in front of the A.A. Birch Building was also cleared.

The bomb squad was called out to investigate. They determined the bag contained only clothing — nothing hazardous — and reopened the area at 10:30 a.m.

Roads surrounding the CJC — including parts of James Robertson Parkway, Second Avenue North, Gay Street and Third Avenue North — have reopened.

Ahhhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha!! What goes around "COMES AROUND!" Tobad police have to think they're all that and a bag of chips! Most want to act as if they own the world and if you walk a half inch off their sidewalk, you get a either a tresspass charge or arrested. Hell, you don't even have to do anything wrong to get arrested. Well, lots of people seem to forget that if you REALLY haven't done anything wrong, and you are arrested and put in jail, you can sue for "FALSE ARREST" and "FALSE IMPRISONMENT" Once they dream up a charge and you are HONESTLY, NOT GUILTY, then you sue for "SLANDER" too!!!
