Teamsters want law to audit pension fund

The Teamsters Union is preparing an ordinance that would require Metro government to conduct regular performance audits of the $1.7 billion Metro retirement fund.

Jesse Case, coordinator with the Teamsters Law Enforcement League, said public employee pension plans need to be transparent.
