Titans are running into pre-season problems

Entering the 2006 season, Jeff Fisher said his Tennessee Titans would return to their smashmouth style of football.

Three games into the preseason, it has been more like punched in the mouth.

The Titans are neither running the football nor stopping the run with much success in their three outings.

The numbers from the preseason drive home this fact, as the Titans are averaging 3.4 yards per rush, with the total number of carries and yards decreasing in each game.
