With their eye on digging out of a $14 million cap hole, the Tennessee Titans grabbed a shovel Wednesday.

The Titans agreed to redo contracts with defensive end Kevin Carter and tackle Fred Miller to deals that should save nearly $9 million against the 2004 cap.

Complete details have not been finalized in the packages, but Carter
