Titans open 2002 with Bishop's Eagles

The NFL unveiled its 2002 schedule Thursday and the Tennessee Titans slate of games has a little different look than in years past.

For one thing, realignment has taken away twice-a-year games with Cincinnati, Baltimore and Pittsburgh, though those teams are still on the 2002 schedule once.

The Titans open the year at home on Sept. 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles at noon in a quick homecoming game for ex-Titans strong safety Blaine Bishop who signed with the Eagles after being a salary cap casualty in February. Former Titans tackle Jon Runyan will also be returning as an Eagle.
