Transfer tax could mean more money for Metro

Metro Councilmen Jason Alexander and Bob Bogen are cosponsoring a resolution they say could result in a new source of revenue for Nashville.

Alexander (District 28) and Bogen (District 23) will ask their colleagues to lobby the Davidson County delegation to the General Assembly to allow individual counties to institute their own property transfer tax.
