Trio of teens charged with burglarizing 23 storage units

Metro police arrested three teens for allegedly burglarizing 23 storage units Sunday morning.

According to Metro Nashville Police Department officials, a man called police after he said he saw the two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old breaking into the units at AAA Storage at 5916 Robertson Ave. at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers responded and caught the three suspects after a brief foot chase.

Police said the teens admitted their involvement in the burglaries to detectives. They allegedly stole DVDs, CDs and electronics from the storage units.

All three suspects were charged in juvenile court with burglary.
