Tuition still increases, but by lower amount

Students at state schools will see a tuition increase of 4.1 percent next year, the lowest increase in over a decade.

The budget and finance committee of the Tennessee Board of Regents voted unanimously to impose the increase uniformly across the system except for the University of Memphis School of Law and the East Tennessee State University School of Medicine, which will both see 9 percent increases.
