Burgundy is not the color of choice for players wanting to be on the 20-man active roster for the Nashville Predators.
Left wing Scottie Upshall was dressed in a burgundy practice sweater Monday, his first day of practice since returning to the Predators after a five-game conditioning stint in Milwaukee. Burgundy is reserved for players on the fifth line, and only four lines play in a game. Upshall, a first round draft pick for the Predators in the 2002 NHL Draft, knows it may be awhile before he gets regular playing time.
