Middle Tennessee will honor top volunteers at the 2001 Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer of the Year Awards, which are being held at 11:30 a.m. today at the downtown Renaissance Nashville Hotel Ballroom.

The awards ceremony, now in its 15th year, changed it format this year to award one volunteer from five different categories instead of just one volunteer overall. The categories are Innovator Volunteer, Community Volunteer, Youth Volunteer, Group Volunteer and Direct Services Volunteer.

Nominated in the Innovator Volunteer category are: Mickey Beazley of Brentwood and Ann Krenson of Nashville, nominated by Hospital Hospitality House; Bill and Fletch Coke of Nashville, nominated by St. Luke
