Cavaliers rally back for win

It was a bittersweet ending for the Aquinas basketball program as the team ended its regular season with a 103-86 overtime win over in-state rival Roane State at home. Whites Creek graduate and sophomore Odell Bradley led the way with 26 points in the win, which gave head coach Charlie Anderson his 451st win at the school. Tyler Jones added 21 points, while Eric Parham and Calvin Owen chipped in 17 and 16 points, respectively. Aquinas finishes the season with a 22-5 record and heads on to the Region VII basketball tournament beginning Wednesday. Roane State ends with a 13-17 record.

Trevecca falls short in semis

The Trevecca Trojans could not maintain a halftime lead and lost 76-65 in the TranSouth tournament semifinals to Union in Jackson, Tenn. Michael Blivins finished with 22 points with Will Partin contributing 14 points in the loss that dropped the Trojans to 22-11. Also scoring in double figures was Eric Addie with 10 points. Union (24-10) was led by Anthony Brooks
