Weekly cargo flights tie Nashville to Taipei

Next month, China Airlines will begin four weekly Taipei-to-Nashville cargo flights, using Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft.

It is the first direct international cargo service for the Nashville Air Cargo Link, which completed Phase I expansion plans nearly two years ago. Recent expansion efforts, which include improvements to the existing cargo facility, cargo apron, taxiway, landside truck terminal and parking lots, have made it possible for the Link to load and unload wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 747-400.

But this is the first time the Link will include continuous 747 flights.
