Last year it was the largest marathon in Tennessee history, and this year promoters expect the second Country Music Marathon to eclipse the 2000 inaugural event.

With more than $100,000 in prize and bonus money, the 26.2-mile race has lured runners from all over the world: Kenya, Hungary, Colombia, Brazil, Ukraine and South Africa, to name a few of the represented countries. Early Saturday morning roughly 8,000 of them will lace up for what forecasters expect to be a world-class weekend
