So the debate about affirmative action will go on.

In deciding two University of Michigan affirmative action cases recently, the U.S. Supreme Court left us where it found us. The justices upheld the consideration of race as a factor in admissions at the University of Michigan law school, but struck down a weighted point system that tilted in favor of minorities in Michigan
