In the past few decades, the federal government has taken over the education of American children.

Based on the government's stupid activities, why does the government think they know more about what the children of today should be taught than the State and local schools? Is the federal government smarter than our State and local officials? As evidence shows, they evidently aren't.

Is it merely co-incidental that the private choice in homeschooling was outlawed by the Soviet Union in 1919, by Hitler in 1938 and by communist China in 1949?

When home schooling is outlawed by the federal government in the US, communism will be our new government. Who will be our first dictator?

Loner... that's the Ben Dover narrative, thank you very much. The GOP still hasn't caught up to it yet because they've still got their heads up their arses over TARP.

What should be noted though is that the TARP money Bush spent to prevent that run on the banks was repaid in full. Obama, however respent that $500,000,000,000 of repayments + another $750,000,000,000 in stimulus slush in his first 24 months in office and we don't have a prayer of ever seeing that again.
