Should the bill to block access to gun carry permit records, which passed the Senate Wednesday, be passed as is or not?

Those seeking guns specifically would be a particularly dangerous minority then, Loner.

Not so, Ben...not according to this site:

8. Regionally, the south accounts for 47% of burglaries. The Midwest and west each account for 21% of burglaries, and the northeast accounts for the remaining 11%.

The source appears to be credible.

I agree, Ben a burglar whose primary mission is to steal guns and ammo is a particularly dangerous minority of burglars....no doubt, they are armed when they break-in....real desperadoes....folks who need to be caged.

If I may shortcut you name to give you a little information quicker, I'll get it to you faster.

In your mental feeble mindedness, because you haven't heard what I've heard, or read what I've read, it doesn't exist.

If you have the education you have claimed to have, you should find every point I've posted proving me wrong. I'm still waiting.

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 9:53

At this point, I expect Rasputin to point out that the "underclass" percentage is higher in the South; hence the higher burglary rate there.

BS, dargent7. I carry but I don't want to advertise it and it's none of your business to know whether I am or aren't.
Another LIE by yogi, of course, that is all he has ever put on the board, LIES. He has bragged about his guns & carrying them & threatened about half or more of the posters of this forum. SO, the old troll knows nothing but lies!

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 9:59

Anyone who tries to expose the BS in the Birther Issue has failed to convince the believers...it's a faith-based thing....it's not an evidence-based belief...it is a BS-based cult.

We no longer try...we just ignore birther-related ravings and howlings.

By: yogiman on 4/11/13 at 10:06

You can ignore all you wish, Loner, but the facts I have posted were put out by your man Barry as facts.

I'm guessing you don't want any facts because they make you look like the idiot you're proving yourself to be.

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 10:14

yogi says I carry but I don't want advertise it. However he just advertised it. What a yucks.

By: yogiman on 4/11/13 at 10:22

A little history for you, bfra. It might give you a simple idea of who Barry is. That is if you're mentality capable of understanding it.

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 10:26

During the people building period in yogi's development, when facts were being handed out, yogi heard tacks and hide.

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 10:28

A little history for yogi, mean he knows nothing.

Breaking News:

WASHINGTON – The Senate crossed the first of many hurdles Thursday in the drive to pass new gun legislation, with a bipartisan vote to begin what could be weeks of debate on the issue.

Stand by for a torrential bullshit storm in DC....the special interests are loading their manure spreaders....whole convoys of BS-bearing vehicles are headed to the nation's capital...the locals are buying respirators.

First of all I question that percentage....

As for the rest of the statement.... I have a nephew who was an MP, got out of the service and became a local sheriff, a county cop (all while getting his criminal justice degree), and is now a member of the Pa. State Police force. In his opinion, the criminal almost always has the upper hand even when facing an armed police officer. The reason being that, unlike the officer, the criminal is absolutely committed to his actions with little or no concern for public safety. A police officer doesn't have that luxury.... and is thus at a disadvantage. Excuse me if I accept my nephews opinion over yours, Ben.

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 11:35

Brrrrk, I too refuted Ben's claim in my 10:45 post...with a credible source....haven't heard from him since.

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 12:02

Motor vehicles can kill, though they are not designed to do so, driving is a privilege, not a right....regulating motor vehicle use makes sense. We all agree on that.

Guns can and do kill, they are specifically designed to kill...oddly, gun ownership is considered a right, not a privilege...exempting firearms use from regulation makes no sense at all. We should all agree on that.

By: brrrrk on 4/11/13 at 12:10

If the 2nd amendment is as absolute as the right would have us believe it to be, why can't we then own nuclear weapons, or surface-to-air missiles, or tanks, or...... ?

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 12:13

I don't care how armed you are, if someone want to kill you they will and they will have the advantage of surprise on their side.

Ben your stats or junk.

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 12:22

There is a huge parenthetical in the 2nd amendment:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the (white) people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 12:25

Guns don't kill, people kill, tis the argument. True, but they also haven't don't have brains and can not help what is done to them. So we should just protect their right to live.

Kyle Pyle.

Don't worry Loner, your Governor will take care of you up that way.
My biggest concern on openness in Tenn is the Press always running
a 20 year old photo of Lamar Alexander when he's worthy of coverage.
He's around 74 or so and needs to be in the "Republican Establishment
Home" in Va versus running for re-election.

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 12:28

My yogi is showing. Are not Or.

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 1:08

Not to worry, Gov....dynastic democracy is alive and well in NY state....and in "the world's largest Jewish city" to use Bloomberg's words, we have a run-away nanny state...Anthony Wiener...the wiener boy who left the Congress under a cloud, is lobbying for Bloomie's job...the guy has no shame....but he does have the right ethnicity...if Bloomie anoints the Wiener, the wiener gets in.

I have never claimed that NY's politics are clean, fair or honest.

By: yogiman on 4/11/13 at 1:38

I agree with your nephew, brrrrk. Only the criminal has the advantage of knowledge. He knows his position when the officer doesn't and the only kind of people the officer can front without worry are honest law abiding citizens.

Here's a link to a great backgrounder on Weiner.:

I admit, I did not know that his wife is a Muslim...and well-connected to the Clintons...apparently, she wears the jockey shorts in the Weiner household...very interesting...having a Muslim wife gets Weiner off the hook on the pro-Israel anti-Arab allegation...he's a clever one...check out the Daily News article.

By: Loner on 4/11/13 at 1:46

Jughead sticks his scrotum into the room....then waits for a reaction....balls-obsessed one, how old are you? Just going through puberty, my boy? Not sure of your gender orientation? That's OK....let us help you....

By: Jughead on 4/11/13 at 2:18

Balls on Loner's face. He's liking it.

Webmaster - It would be nice, if NCP had enough respect for their users to block such as the 3:18 comment. It has no relavance to the discussion, is vulgar & the poster definitely has no respect for NCP or your users. The same could also be said for the one that has been allowed for 4 1/2 years to post nothing but "proven" lies.

By: bfra on 4/11/13 at 4:21

s/h/b - relevance - Guess it doesn't matter because NCP doesn't seem to care!

By: Ask01 on 4/11/13 at 4:55

Thank you for the kind words Loner. Considering some names I have been called A1 is no problem.

(I answer to most anything Why, my ex wife used to call me...well, never mind. We should maintain some sense of decorum.)

By: yogiman on 4/11/13 at 5:11

I suggest you check out the language you and your "friends" are using on this site before you gripe about the others.

That is, of course, unless y'all are special.

By: Captain Nemo on 4/11/13 at 5:46

You mean like dumba$$, yogi.

By: yogiman on 4/11/13 at 6:32

If you had enough intelligence to read, dumba$$, you would understand I didn't take my name out of the list. But you and the others use plain vulgar words in your posts.

By: yogiman on 4/11/13 at 6:40

How about proving the "lies" you're accusing me of, bfra. I'd be happy to learn from my mistakes. But to advise you, I'd think you should know what you're complaining about.

You claim to have proven me wrong but you don't seem to be able to repeat it. That's the difference between you and I, I don't mind repeating my point in an argument but you refuse to even enter the argument; you can only say; you lied. So tell me where I'm wrong.

Well, it looks like Alexander and Corker voted for Barry's demand to amend our Constitution against without our consent, Loner. How did your senators vote?
