Up for Debate: Death of an American ambassador

Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 12:06am

What's your reaction to the violence in Benghazi, Libya, that left a U.S. ambassador dead along with members of his staff? If it's true the violence leading to the deaths was prompted in part by an American-made video that criticized the Prophet Muhammad should those who promoted the video be held responsible or reprimanded in some way?

I like your 3:25 post. I think they should throw Obama's name in that pool and demand his proof of citizenship. And if he can't produce a legal birth certificate, send him back to Kenya.

Oh, have you heard of the 2005 calendar his grandmother has on her wall in Kenya? It shows, "The Kenyan Wonder-Boy in the U.S. :Senator Barack Obama"

And just think, that Kenyan Wonder-Boy went all the way to become the American President. Even illegally.

Sippin' an ice-cold Heineken right now....missed the 4:20 Award....I was busy looking for a church key...lost track of the time.

This hate film has suddenly turned the right-wingers into champions of free speech...they sound like the ACLU....but, if this film were the work of Islamists who wanted to discredit Israel and incite a riot in a pro-Western nation, which it succeeded in doing, then these same champions of free speech would be calling for the perps to be sent to Gitmo....am I right on that?

Yeah, Heinie is a hard capped brew.....I learned about the church key as an altar boy, Slack.

They have arrested the filmmaker. He is from Egypt and has been in all kinds of trouble. He knew that it would cause this. Poor Mitt, he is a loser.

By: Loner on 9/13/12 at 6:43

Poor Mitt, indeed...bless his heart...he's still standing his ground....though he be standing on political quicksand....defiant little guy....still ignorant of his predicament....or is it false bravado?

And what does his running mate have to say about Mitt's remarks?

The Judeo-Christian West was transformed by The Enlightenment Period. No such thing ever happened in the muslim world. That's why they are still 7th century ignorant savages. We cannot change them. We simply need to push them back to Turdistan where they can kill each other and get out without wasting any more American blood or treasure on them. Yes, that does include deporting them from our country.

I demand that Bill Maher be hauled in for questioning for his highly offensive documentary, "Religulous," that spends 20 minutes bashing Islam (never mind the main agenda was a condemnation of Christianity). Maher must pay for his sins before someone invades an embassy and kills someone. Because the problem today has nothing to do with the wildly successful foreign policies of our President. No, the problems must surely be a reaction of film makers who "slander" Islam. We need to learn just what kind of low-life this film maker is and to whose election campaign he gave $1 million.
