There has been a lot of predictions from the fringe right that did not to be.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 12:19

I can go to sleep happy now knowing the little rich guy, war monger is NOT going to be President.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 12:19

Rasputin will make his usual whine about being of the upper class and how the lower class will make him feel so bad. LOL

By: Rasputin72 on 11/7/12 at 12:20

I won every bet I made. The pain was awful but one has to make money any he can to stay ahead of socialism.

Barack Hussein Obama created the most successful campaign strategy pf my lifetime by merely looking at the financial demographics of the people.

The vast majority of Americans make less than 60,000 dollars a year. "Let's design a campaign that depicts them as being abused financially by the Republicans."

The Republicans were never able to counter that without explaining the fact that all men are not created equal.

Life is about winning and losing, and more importantly how to survive and thrive after a loss.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 12:20

Good night bfra.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 12:22

Sleep well Raspy old boy.

By: yogiman on 11/7/12 at 12:55

Isn't it odd you all had to show a photo ID to prove you was legally eligible to vote for the president of your nation but the man running in the campaign for that office wasn't required to prove he was legally eligible to run for that office.

It would be great, at least, if he was an American citizen.

The lunatic fringe has already made themselves heard.

No no, not our resident octogenarian birther troll, but Donald Trump! He has call on people to revolt and march on Washington, or some such nonsense.

He claims the world is laughing at us, but I suspect the laughter is aimed at his ridiculous hair and those of his ilk who still live in the19th century.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but advocating violence and insurrection against the government is a felony is it not?

The article I sleepily glanced at after one of my many nocturnal bathroom visits seemed to indicate he, Trump, was treading dangerously close to treason or some similar offense which could land his rich butt in Federal Prison.

On the upside, confiscation of his property and assets could probably ease the national debt and serve as a warning to other rich reactionaries not to become too radical.

On a serious note, can we just all please try to get along and demand our elected employees work together for the common good and not special interest groups?

The mud and feces slinging should be over, unless sour grapes advertisements are already being published, so let's give it a rest and be a thorn in the backside of our local politicians for a while as they present a more immediate threat than Washington.

G'night folks. I need a few more hours sleep before I interview for a promotion tomorrow. Or today, or oh, never mind you know what or when I mean.

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 5:33

Rasputin, the bigoted, morally bankrupt bozo says the Teapublicans should have put more effort into, "explaining the fact that all men are not created equal."

Anyone who holds such an anti-American belief deserves no voice in the government.

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 5:38

Okay, yogi, rasputin, parnell, brainedlight, govskeptic, tomba1, Little Bennie (and any other teapublicans I'm leaving out), it's time to turn in your guns. We're moving you to the collective farms, comrades.

(You can tell some people that there's nobody out to get them until you're blue in the face, but there's no stopping them if they're determined to descend into paranoia.)

By: Rasputin72 on 11/7/12 at 5:41

Ummm.......Every person with an IQ of 85 and above knows in their heart that all men arenot created equal. It is taboo in this country however to bring it up.

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 5:48

Gee whiz, Rasputin, maybe you should get in your time machine (you're obviously super-wealthy, and can afford one) and go back to 1776 to give the founding fathers the benefit of your "wisdom" before they write that low-brow Declaration of Independence. They may have all died not realizing what morons they were. Pfft...

By: Rasputin72 on 11/7/12 at 6:09

Ummm.....As a charter member of the simple six, you once again cannot read with comprehension. My statement had nothing to do with the founding fathers (who by the way did not have you in mind when they made they declaration) My statement is about interpretation of the declaration. The founding fathers never thought about giving welfare to people that were created equal. Today we have welfare to go along with equality.

No,equality is about equal opportunity not about equality of genetics.

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 6:11

And remember, Teapublicans, all is not lost- that fine, upstanding citizen Scott DesJarlais won his race, keeping Tennessee on the national laughing-stock list for at least another two years.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:23

Amen on that one Ummm! IMO, re-electing that scumbag, shows where the majority of Tennesseans have their heads. Then going for the tax evading, war monger Romney, they should be ashamed.

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 6:24

Au contraire, Grey Poupon slurper, it is your reading comprehension which is quite faulty. You should try reading the Declaration of Independence again (that's assuming, of course, that you ever read it in the first place).

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:26

The birther troll has stated in the past, if Obama wins he would be gone from this board. However, since he has never put a true, documented fact on the board & is noted for his lies, we shall see.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:28

Ummm - Raspy is just another daydreaming troll & a wannabe.

By: yogiman on 11/7/12 at 6:32

I hate to tell you idiots this, but you're going to find out the fate of the US much sooner than you wish. Anyone who would vote for someone they don't even know is an idiot, so welcome to
Barry's club, Idiots.

It's too late now, and I'm not promoting his book, but a suggest you read it (his autobiography) and learn who and what he is.

He was raised in a communist family. He was mentored as a communist. All of his known friend are communist. He is a communist. If you aren't communists, I feel sorry for you for exposing your ignorance. I don't feel sorry for you for what you got, but I do feel sorry for your children and any heirs you might have.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:36

(click) the troll that just proved himself to be King liar!

By: yogiman on 11/7/12 at 6:39

You might be joking about our guns, but if you own one you had better hide it. Barry has been working toward gun control from day one in office. When he gets it, you can say goodbye USA, hello USSA. He and Hillary Clinton have been working on it through the UN.

Our only hope now, and I doubt if it will happen, is if our congress arrests him and bring him to trial for treason. And there is many charges for that.

I would say the ones who voted for him are mostly those with their hands out.

By: yogiman on 11/7/12 at 6:43

You should read the Constitution after you read the Declaration of Independence again then tell me how well is Barry Soetoro going by the Constitution.

By: Loner on 11/7/12 at 6:47

Good morning, Nashville.

Not too many surprises yesterday....two notorious Tea Baggers, Akin & Mourdock, the gaffers who won their primaries against GOP incumbents, were defeated in the general election ....this should send a message to the Republican Party: You can't fool all the people all the time.

It could be lights out for the Tea Party in America.

But in the Coonskin Cap state, Tea Baggers still rule...even mentally unstable and absolutely phony guys, like Mr. Desjarlais, are acceptable to the faith-based voters in that state, so long as they play the role of born-again knucklehead for Jesus.

Abe Lincoln should have let the South go its own way....they will never repent...never catch up.....never realize their potential....it's a hate-based society in the Bible Belt....'twas ever thus.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:51

Loner - Don't put me in that realm. I am a native Tennessean and proud of our beautiful State as far as resources & beauty goes. Lock step with the teabaggers, NEVER!

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:53

I do believe, if Trump the bump, had got on the ticket, the stupid majority would have voted for him. I think an invasion of aliens has overtaken the native Tennesseans.

By: yogiman on 11/7/12 at 6:55

I'm sure you have kept a record as to when I said I would leave this board if Barry was elected, bfra. When did I post that comment?

This board doesn't belong to you and your co-Obama admirers so why should I quit and let you make your loving comments about him without me trying to teach you some facts on him?

At my age, I don't have much to worry about before he gets his control set up, but you and your middle age companions will learn the hard way.

By: yogiman on 11/7/12 at 6:55

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 6:57

Loner, unfortunately many of the "Tea Party" congressional candidates won re-election, so I'm afraid your "lights out" postulation is a bit premature. I'm also hoping you're wrong about the Israeli intentions where our newly re-elected president is concerned. And to backtrack a bit, I know I've been somewhat tough on your buddy BenDover, but honestly, when one believes all the nonsense he does, just how "smart" can he be? He's also the guy who proclaimed his own posts on this forum to be "thoughtful and cogent" (I'm sure that includes the one yesterday about "sweaty balls")- I consider that alone to call his intelligence into question.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 6:58

(click) liar

By: Loner on 11/7/12 at 6:58

Dammit, I was hoping that the troll was going to use that ammo that he bought last week...to end it all....to put himself out of his misery...but no....looks like we have to look forward to 4 more years of sour grape-flavored troll droppings....that could dampen everyone's enthusiasm this fine morning....but we have the (click)...thank God for that.

Of course, there will be for more years of gridlock, as the GOP digs in their heels and obstructs any Democratic proposal.....and we can probably expect an attempt on the President's life....with only 14% of Israelis supporting Obama, it is unlikely that the Likud and the Mossad will tolerate four more years of Obama. May God preserve our President from his enemies, both foreign & domestic.

As for the financial cliff..the GOP is hoping that the national bus rolls over the edge and into the abyss....the Democrats will be working feverishly to avoid the cliff....but it may be too little, to late....buckle up.

By: Loner on 11/7/12 at 7:08

I was hoping that Romney would win the popular vote, but lose the EC....oh well, maybe next time?

Knowing that Sheldon Adelson wasted over 25 million on Israel-first losers makes me feel warm & fuzzy....Sheldon is rich enough to hire his own assassination squad....he don't need no steenking Mossad....hopefully, the Secret Service is monitoring that creep....that high roller, Adelson, has finally crapped out....big time.

By: Kosh III on 11/7/12 at 7:12

"Today we have welfare"

Yep. Massive welfare checks to Exxon, BP, Titans, Predators and other moochers.
No federal taxes paid by GE, Boeing, BofA, Verizon.

47% parasites everyone.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 7:26

I'm not surprised that the liar/coward troll would go back on his word, because he is an old fool with no honor.

By: parnell3rd on 11/7/12 at 7:27

What surprised me? How many imbicile's live in America!
When history records the downfall of America, they will not place any blame on the ignorant idiots who voted for the re-election/destruction of America! Your granchildren will live in gov't slavery.

By: parnell3rd on 11/7/12 at 7:29

And to all you liberal freaks, the gov't is keeping what you write in these discussion rooms too!

By: govskeptic on 11/7/12 at 7:32

I knew all along we should have run Bob Dole again. Now if I can only get my
$15.00 credit card donation cancelled out it will be a decent day.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 7:32

Like his predictions about Romney winning , the stupid old man (and I use the word man loosely) has no barring among real men.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/7/12 at 7:33

Oh, the Republican butthurt HURTS this morning - LOL!!! But don't worry, it's covered under Obamacare even if it is a pre-existing condition.

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 7:34

ooooo! p3 is scaring me to death! But on the other hand, when is yogi going to be shot for treason?

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 7:34

As a member of the human race, I declare today national troll smack down. Have at him people.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/7/12 at 7:34

Mitt lost Michigan and Massachusetts and Ryan's home state also turned blue. The citizens who knew them best did not support them!

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/7/12 at 7:35

No martial law, no taking away guns, none of the conspiracy crap happened. Time for the real world folks!

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 7:36

LOL gov.

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 7:36

"Parnell," if you can't even spell "imbecile" you just might be one, hmmm?

By: bfra on 11/7/12 at 7:37

I don't think Ryan should have been allowed to run in 2 elections at the same time. However, I am so glad he lost the main one.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 7:38

That is Tennessee all over in triple Blanket lol

By: Ummm... on 11/7/12 at 7:38

Oh, and btw "parnell," an apostrophe makes a word possessive, not plural.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/7/12 at 7:40

LOL Ummm.

That was a sign that Ryan was covering his butt. The fringe should have known that defeat was at hand.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/7/12 at 7:43

Obama re-elected
Gay marriage is now legal in two states
Two states legalized marijuana
Puerto Rico may become our 51st state

It's a bad, bad day for the teaparty!!!!

By: jvh2b on 11/7/12 at 7:47

Yeah Loner I was kinda hoping the trolls brains were splattered all over a wall somewhere….not by his own hand...but by him not being able to comprehend the whole thing, or the thought of him having to waste 4 more years of his life over pathetic conspiracy theories and stating the same thing day in and day out...but considering he can't remember his own promises to the board, and claims no one has shown him proof, when everyone on here has through every aspect of his pathetic claims...

Now that I write this, I think he may be in senile heaven......
