Up for Debate: Employer access to personal passwords

Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1:10am

How do you feel about reports that some employers have requested access to would-be employees' Facebook passwords as a condition of employment? When it comes to the ever-prolific use of social media where are the lines drawn between employees and employers?

Ben Dover longs for the days when Hosni Mubarak took a billion and a half US dollars every year, since Camp David, and kept his own people under control as a despot and kept the Palestinians in Gaza penned-in and stateless...he abandoned the idea of Pan-Arab nationalism....he participated in the US-sponsored Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip....and he bought US Defense industry hardware...Hosni was an OK guy...neocons liked him.

And Ben preferred Colonel Qadaffi to the present situation....Ben blames Obama for these alleged blunders. I suppose that Obama's Cairo speech lit the fuse for change in the region.

Ben also wrote, "Obama..... has let the Crazy Imams in Iraq get the bomb." The bomb weed? What are you talking about, Ben...if you mean a nuclear bomb, the Mullahs in Iraq do not have one and the Mullahs in Iran do not have one....as far as we know. Please, reveal your source.

"As for gas prices Obama has sided with the radical Muslims in Egypt over Mubarak"

He was a dictator who suppressed other parties, had rigged elections AND violently persecuted Christians. Ever wonder why so many Egyptian Copts moved to Nashville? Go talk to folks at St Mena.

We should NEVER support dictators. "Love one another."

It's hard to sink it into your hard heads, Loner. I'm gonna work on it until he's either thrown out of that office on his a$$ or usurps it again. Then, at my age and health conditions I probably won't have to worry about it much longer. But I will continue until the day I die, hoping to get at least one ignoramus to finally "see the picture" and understand who their favorite usurper is.

By: yogiman on 3/23/12 at 10:26

Kosh III,

I agree, we should never support dictators. So why are you supporting Barack Obama so hard when he apparently doesn't think he needs congress for approval of his thoughts on what he wants to do?

By: Ummm... on 3/23/12 at 10:29

OK, I know I'm gonna regret this, but guess what Yogi? Anyone with more than a couple of brain cells would MUCH prefer a foreign national, a usurper, hell- a retarded monkey to what we had before Obama. You keep making outrageous unfounded accusations about communism, etc., but everyone knows (whether they will admit it or not) that the country is doing much better now under Obama than it ever would have under four more years of Bush-like stupidity. Until there is evidence of harm to this country by the so-called "usurper," why don't you just shut the hell up?

Yogiman's Blues ( E minor)

It's a lonely job, but somebody's gotta do it.
Yogi the troll has been all through it.
Yogi rants about Obama's usurpation.
Yogi denounces this Obama-nation.
Spends his time on de-legitimization.
Claims the black president is an abomination.
Yeah, the troll has been all through it.
It's a lonely job, but somebody's gotta do it

Uhhh....Will it sell in Nashville?

Nope, doesn't have anything about cheatin', beer, gettin' drunk, whoopin' someones ass, or wavin' the flag.... now if you can squeeze that in you might have something.

By: Loner on 3/23/12 at 11:01

Thank you, Brrrrk, for the instant feedback from Music City....I love this site.

OK, let's go with the standard running gag:

"A flag-wavin', cheatin', beer-drinkin' drunk, lookin' to whoop someone's ass, staggers into a gay piano bar in Nashville....."

By: Ummm... on 3/23/12 at 11:02

Also needs something about trucks or trains and Mama.

By: Loner on 3/23/12 at 11:13

OK, Ummmm....opening compound couplet:

Mama pulled a train in my new pick-up truck - she laid a bed on my vinyl bed-liner.
Although I disagreed, I said WTF - gotta pay for the truck - sorry, we don't serve minors.

Am i going in the right direction here?

>If I had the money I'd already be gone.

dargent: where can we donate?

By: Ummm... on 3/23/12 at 11:17

Loner- I'm glad I wasn't trying to eat or drink when I read that, or it would have come out my nose!

By: yogiman on 3/23/12 at 11:25

Ummm,

It would great if you even had a couple of brain cells. Maybe you could understand the wording of our Constitution. But with your comments, I've give up hope for that.

By: yogiman on 3/23/12 at 11:30

Hey, Loner,

I like that, but you left out a valuable line that might make that "song" sell.

Add: And if Barry doesn't prove it, he's gonna lose it.

It should sell then.

By: Loner on 3/23/12 at 11:40

I guess that's a good thing, Ummm....thanks, I think.

Yogi, that's a great suggestion..."If Barry doesn't prove it...Yogi's gonna lose it"...I may have to fit that in there...maybe using Yogi's voice in the background: "If Barry Soetero doesn't prove it...I'm gonna lose it!"(sound of a full clip being fired through a semi-auto 9mm along with that?)

By: slacker on 3/23/12 at 11:59

Working on the hook, what rhymes with Turban?

By: slacker on 3/23/12 at 12:00

Did any of you know the immigration records are missing for the week of Obama's birth? Check www.wnd.com/2012/03/immigration-records-missing-for-week-of-obamas-birth/

Interesting, isn't it?

By: Loner on 3/23/12 at 2:34

For Slacker and the Slackerados:

From Mecca to Durbin...they're wearin' crazy turbans....they're urban...they're suburban...but they don't drink bourbon....Crazy Imams! Crazy Imamas!

Don't know Shiite from Shinola....hate our guts, but drink our Cola...they're urban...they're suburban...but they don't drink bourbon....Crazy Imams! Crazy Imamas!

Things are sunny in Sunni land....and that's our oil under their sand....they're urban...they're suburban...but they don't drink bourbon....Crazy Imams! Crazy Imamas!

Etch-a-sketch and it's connection to Mitt Romney is a bit more than we're told.

Etch-a-sketch is made by Ohio Arts. In 2001 Ohio Arts was forced to move production of the Etch-a-sketch overseas with Toys-R-Us having the biggest hand in forcing it. Anyone care to guess who owns Toys-R-Us..... if you said Bain Capital you win.

By: slacker on 3/23/12 at 4:12

Loner that's gold... solid gold. It's got a good beat, and the Sheik's can dance to it.
You'll make some serious Mullah on that one.

By: Loner on 3/24/12 at 6:45

Thanks, Slacker...the Slackerados have my my permission to perform it...again, behind chicken wire....of course.....if it goes national, I want my slice of the pie...Loner needs a new pair of shoes.

I will predict that slacker will return on Friday the 23rd.
