Up for Debate: A felonious foreman

Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 9:05pm

Who should be more embarrassed that a felon was tapped to lead a grand jury in 2011, the judge who picked him or the district attorney who didn't perform a background check? More importantly what, if anything, should happen with the cases handled during that grand jury's term? Should the cases be remanded? Or does it matter little?

Asl01 - That is a fact he/she demonstrates with every comment.

Well,Well. the simpletons are out early this morning. They question my validity because I it extremely difficult for them to imagine getting any check by the month other than social security.

I too have questions. Which of simpletons is a shut in and which is a welfare recipient. I sometimes wonder based on their logic and their political leanings if the combined net worth of all six exceeds 200,000 dollars.

The future of America has never looked so bleak.

No wonder the elite country clubs are so picky about membership invitations. Can a productive American bear the thought of one of these sub-pars winning a lottery abd sitting next to you in the grand dining room and listening to one of them pass gas.

No one can be as smart as they are, Rasputin72.

Don't believe me? Just ask them. I just wish I was as smart as they think they are... but I know better.

Some of them are reasonably intelligent on some issues but dumber than hell on others.

Raspy - Your comments sound more like discussions at hobo or homeless rallies that any country club.

s/h/b "than", but then with Raspy's spelling, he can figure that out! LOL

That is one of the reasons, bfra, I don't even acknowledge that individual's existence by responding directly to any of the posted nonsense.

There are three or four on this board I just scroll past unless, of course I need a good laugh or a little frustration over the sad lack of mental health treatment for those so desperately in need.

The mental detrioration accompanying advanced age is frightening, and the self delusion of lofty social and economic status heart wrenchingly sad.

That said, I still ignore them for the most part to preserve my own tenuous grip on sanity as an enlightened citizen living in a red state like Tennessee.

Sorry. I am forced to admit that last was just poking the slovenly for fun to provoke further rants and ravings.

Ask01 - Good idea! It just amazes me that for some to strive for such pretense, they could at least do a little research, instead of sounding so dumb.

It's good to know you have a good sense of humor, Ask01, so let me play history teacher to you on an issue.

Most of you on this site are in favor of the government ignoring our 2nd amendment rights and taking our guns. What did you learn in service about guns?

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 millions Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1935, China established gun control. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1938, Germany established gun control. From 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1956, Cambodia established gun control. From 1975 to 1977, 1 million educated people, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Now, maybe a little closer to your time: In 1964, Guatemala established gun control. From 1964 to 1981, 100 thousand Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1970, Uganda established gun control. From 1971 to 1979, 300 thousand Christians, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Switzerland issues every household a gun and trains every adult they issue a rifle to.
Switzerland is the lowest gun related crime rate of any civilized country in the world. Why?

The US government is making a move by through the United Nations to take control of the guns of U.S citizens. If you feel the government should have control of guns, you can give them yours.

And by the way, Japan didn't attack the USA because they knew we, the citizens, were well armed.

Sorry. I meant "going" through the UN

By: yogiman on 2/3/13 at 11:08

Sorry again, bfra, but we aren't all professional expert spellers like you.

By: bfra on 2/3/13 at 12:35

Don't fret yogi, nobody thinks you are an expert or professional on anything! You really was joking, right?

By: Rasputin72 on 2/3/13 at 12:51

BFRA..........Why don't you tell Yogi what you are better than"proficient" in doing?

Getting an unfair share of food stamps does not count.

By: yogiman on 2/3/13 at 1:38

I wish I was joking on Barry and the destiny of our nation he's attempting to take us, bfra. But too much evidence has been noted and I'm not joking.

As I've "said" before, Barry isn't pulling this off by himself. Congress is a bigger problem for than he. They've backed him all the way without question. Why?

A man can become a normal public figure and win the President's seat in 6 years without an astonishing accomplishment?

Haven't you even wondered why no one in congress has given any thought of the way this man has usurped that office?

Look into history and note what happened when a country took their citizens' guns away from them.

As I've posted before, I honestly feel sorry for you that supports a man as your "leader" when you don't even know his legal name.

yogi changes the subject! Raspy just blabbers on!

By: bfra on 2/3/13 at 2:04

You 2 nincompoops have at it, I am on my way to the game.

Have fun and stay sober. You'll in bad shape mentally even when you're sober.
