Historians are not lobbyists..got it? Histian, good. Lobbyist, bad.

Brrrrk, your 10:12 post has the video of what I alluded to at 7:05 and at 8:03...the video leaves no doubt...Santorum has no backbone....just the forked tongue. Thanks for that link.

I'd like to ask Santorum why he thinks that Israeli women have a right to choose, but American women do not...why the state of Israel has a right to exist but the Israeli fetus does not have a right to life...why US foreign aid to Israel indirectly funds their state-run abortion mills, performing up to 50,000 abortions annually....Google Friends of Israel Efrat.

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 10:34

Histian s/h/b Historian Spellcheck missed it...my bad.

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 10:42

Slick Santorum slides on slippery slope of sleazy slander?

(Try to say that 3 times quickly.)

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 10:42

Why is it better to give foreign aid to China and then borrow it back from them but can't depend on them foreign aid, but we shouldn't give Israel foreign aid because we can't borrow it back from them but we can depend on them for foreign aid?

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 10:46

Ignoring the incoherent babble of the trolling one....it's all we can do.

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 10:50

Great pictures. It seems ranchers in Texas have motion lights at their watering holes to stay alert on what's going on there.

It shows a mountain lion on March 3, 2009 at 6:57am, a deer at 9:40am on Mar. 4th, an owl at 2:23am on March 6, a bobcat at 12:54pm om on March 11, a badger at 11:55pm on the same date and a group of future democrats at 4:34am on March 15, 2009.

Wonder how many more animals have gotten water out of that tank since then?

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 10:52

Incoherent? In whose mind?

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 11:04

Let me make this "incoherent" remark about our government, Loner, if you don't mind.

In the past several years, the federal government has taken over the education our children are being taught today. Why does the federal "guvmunt" think they know more about what the children should learn than the locals schools? Are they smarter than our local school officials? Gimme a break!

Is it merely a coincident that the choice of private of homeschooling was outlawed by the Soviet Union in 1919, by Adolf Hitler in 1938 and by communist China in 1949 when each took over?

Currently, we still have private schooling in the USA. When that becomes outlawed, communism will be in control of our government. Who will be our dictator? How close are we at that stage now?

To me? Too damn close.

Your 9:45 post was interesting Yogi, I'd forgotten about the private bookstores. I can't remember the name of the one my mother took me to but it was in the ally in Hillsboro Village. Now where are the watering hole pictures?

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 11:26

Judy, they cleaned out the adult bookstores down there, years ago....as I recall.

As for pictures of the "watering hole", I have no comment.

Are You a birther too...and do you know a poster named Budlight, aka SidneyAmes...aka girliegirl? You remind me of those ladies.....just sayin'.

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 11:39

Sorry judyboodo,

As I've remarked before, I'm no expert on this machine. I would love to show you those pictures as it shows all of the animals... including the three illegal aliens in the group.

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 11:47

You're right on at least one thing, Loner. It was years ago they took over the children's education and caused the privately owned book stores to close.

That was when the communist party got one step closer to the White House.

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 11:59

Yeah. Wow.

We should invest in tin foil futures, Brrrrk?

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 12:01

And people ask me why I post here...you can't get laughs like this on the Comedy Channel....no commercials either....such a deal!

By: judyboodo@yahoo.com on 1/24/12 at 12:04

No Loner, I'm not a "birther". But I do know that this President is completely non-consequential. I agree with you he's got to go. But there is a lesson to be learned here, don't elect someone who has absolutely no experience with making deals and playing politics. Like it or not that is what the office calls for. As much as I hate LBJ, he was a consummate politician..... and Mussolini made the trains run on time..

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 12:06

"Watering hole"? "Glory hole"? "Animals"? "Private" bookstores? This is getting raunchy...on the slippery slope to sleaze....and this is "Family Values"?

By: brrrrk on 1/24/12 at 12:10

Oh my!!!! What's a one percenter to do?

"MPs call for Cayman closure

A group of UK members of parliament has proposed an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons in an effort to close down tax havens, including the Cayman Islands."

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 12:13

Yeah, "inconsequential"...unpresidential....he's just a vassal...some would say @sshole...a king in his castle....don't hassle the vassal....don't tug on his tassel....or fish in his bass hole....he's just a vassal....I feel a rap tune coming on...need meds!

By: brrrrk on 1/24/12 at 12:13

Loner said

"'Watering hole'? 'Glory hole'? 'Animals'? 'Private' bookstores? This is getting raunchy...on the slippery slope to sleaze....and this is 'Family Values'?"

No, "family values" is having your daughters you had with your first wife complain about what your second wife is saying about your third wife. Geeeez, get it straight Loner. :-)

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 12:16

...a duke in his castle...he's just a vassal.

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 12:19

Brrrrk, I lol'd on that one...shared it with others...credited Brrrrk in Nashville.

I threw that 12:06 in as an addendum to your earlier quip.

I tried to get it straight last night, Brrrrk.....TMI?

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 12:29

You commented about cleaning out the "adult" book stores [down here] years ago. Loner, 'me boy', children ain't adults down here. They're still children.

Now, I'll admit, I don't much about 'up yonda'. Are you still going to school? And of course,
Nu Yawk is different. They still had children in school in Wisconsin when I lived there as a child. How do I know? I wuz one uv um.

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 1:19

It is now 4:20 AM in Tokyo, Japan and it is 4:20 PM in Buenos Aires...I'm celebrating with them...in full solidarity....can't we all just get a bong?

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 1:21

Missed it by a minute???

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 1:26

That's better than the 310 days we have let until the next election, Loner.

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 1:27

Gotta refine these things...how about a 4:20 app on your I-phone? Let's you know by voice..."It's now one minute until 4:20 AM in _______and one minute to 4:20 PM in __________ ." One minute later, the app announces: "It's now 4:20 AM in _______and it's 4:20 PM in __________ ."

24 good reasons every day....such a deal!

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 1:38

Sorry for my mistake, I meant 310 days leFt to our next election.

in your 12:06 post you mentioned absurd comments on "Watering hole"?, "Glory hole"?, "Private" bookstores? And you call that raunchy?

Just wondering, what is your "Family Values"? They don't seem to compare to mine. Just wondering what your are. Are they superior to mine?

By: brrrrk on 1/24/12 at 1:41

I hear a breeze......

By: yogiman on 1/24/12 at 2:23

The wind ain't blowing too hard... yet, brrrrk. You wanna create a "high" wind?

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 2:24

WHOOOSH....and I gotta run...see ya!

By: Loner on 1/24/12 at 4:21

And a minute late in Nashville?

By: brrrrk on 1/24/12 at 4:32

Heard an interesting line on a show last night. Political pundits were talking about the last debate and one mentioned that Newt would have the GOP base enthusiastic about voting and that this would be an advantage for the right... whereas those voting for Obama may not be as enthusiastic. One of the other pundits said, "remember, a none enthusiastic vote counts as much as an enthusiastic vote". :-)

Met him when he was instructor at West Georgia. Not impressed.
Followed his career in Washington - despised him.
Heard him speak in Murfreesboro a few years ago. Mesmerizing. I almost swooned.
I got over it before I got home . So will South Carolina.
