Up for Debate: McConnell, Judd ... bugging?

Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:16am

What do you make of not only the Mother Jones report that exposed Sen. Mitch McConnell's sizing up of Ashley Judd as a possible opponent, but also the obtaining of and what perhaps may be the illegal recording of that conversation?

"Loner's right. These guys play hard-ball. A recording of an Obama strategy meeting would not have Mr Wedge cautioning his staff about not going after Romney on any perceived weakness either."

Here we go with the false equivalency. When was the last time the left did something as heinous as going after a triple amputee war veteran as being unpatriotic like the right went after Max Cleland?

There is a new saying brrrrk, if yogi had to face Obama, he would piss in his pants. This doesn’t make any sense, because his already does that.

Rasputin would be silent in public, because the Empire has no clothes.

brrrrk - Can't pay any attention to Ben, he gets his talking points from yogi!

Good Samaritan!?!?!?! Raspy?!?!?! ROFLMFAO.....

Now I know that Raspy is nothing more than a performance artist here for no other reason than to raise a ruckus....

By: Captain Nemo on 4/10/13 at 10:52

And a very poor performer at that, brrrrk.

By: bfra on 4/10/13 at 11:10

The funny part, Raspy seems to think his made up stories are believed! LOL

bfra, he swallowed them up, hook line and sucker. (sic) LOL

Back on the board for a while...did anyone figure out why the NCP wiped the entire UFD comment board yesterday?

Wiener was on the short list to replace Bloomberg well before the scandal....he's still a powerful Jewish politician with a huge Jewish following in NYC...Jews. like Christians, can forgive their own, but not others...remember, Mayor Bloomberg took out full-page ads in the Jerusalem Post in which he called NYC, "the world's largest Jewish city".....Jew York City and Anthony Wiener certainly are a good fit....I don't like the style, but the fit is good.

If and when the Jihadis get their nuke...there is little doubt where the Islamic suicide squad will set up their operation....they'll try to take out the world's largest Jewish city....when the surviving radioactive refugees start fleeing upstate, things will get nasty..I'll be in Canada....just 40 miles away.

New York is just as corrupt as TN....we have Son-of-Cuomo in the Governor's mansion...and the prick is schmoozing with the hydrofrackers....he plans on running for POTUS, according to reliable sources...Cuomo the Younger is an A-hole....his dad was a likable intellectual....the kid is an unhumorous mobster.

Loner - It will take a strong teapub (which they don't have) to beat Hillary if she decides to run. IMO

By: Loner on 4/10/13 at 12:02

I left a comment or two about the full wipe on yesterday's board here:

That is the parent article that the UFD board was discussing.

I encourage everyone else here to comment about it there too...something strange is going on at the NCP....another major purge is coming? Or was the full-wipe just a glitch?

Bfra, I think the Tea-Baggers have peaked in popularity....Ted Cruz and the others will drive even more reasonable Republicans out of their tent....let them go right....far right...the farther right they go, the bigger their losses at the polls in 2016....with the possible exception of the Confederate states....polarization will continue.

I will not support or vote for Hillary Clinton...I reject dynastic democracy in all its ugly forms...Mrs. Clinton should go home....quietly....enough of the Clintons already....Sheeesh!

Sadly, I am a bit of a loner in that view...the Bush family and the Clinton family may be battling each each other in the knock-down-drag-out in 2016....America is one big banana republic, ruled by a few royal families....but the peasants are well-fed, docile and distracted by games....they are fat, dumb and happy.

McConnell, Judd ... bugging?

A better headline might have been: McConnell, Judd ... buggering?

Flying over to Augusta with friends this morning a discussion came up about whether or not lying was a cornerstone of undetclass culture. (My friends are aware that I am fascinated with with culture. I had never thought about it iuntil my friends brpught it up whether lying is part of the culture itzelf or whether lying is an indovidual trait.

I left it with the idea that Captain Nemo more closely is identified with the core values of underclass culture . I am gping to ask Nemo if he has ever had a creative t hought in his life.

I think the answer e gives will affirm or dispel. any notion we have. as to. what is indovidual behavior and what is core underclass behavior.
The ppssible fflaw would be "Does Nemo fit the mold of core underclass?

As I tpld my friends on the plane, trust me!? This fellow has been a disappointment and travesty to every teacher in his logtr

Nemo, before the cocktails this evening take away our interest in the subject give us your. answer?

By: yogiman on 4/10/13 at 4:39

Well, I'd say like you, bfra. It would depend on who was watching you and you wanted to impress them.

An honest, law abiding, citizen wouldn't give a damn who was watching them. So why do you care so much?

Have you seen much of the history on Billy Boy? If he's one of your favorite dumbolcraps, I sympathize with you.

Ashley is Ashley. For crying out loud, look at the family tree. Now she's dumped her fab race car driver. What was that about? And her abuse book and depression book? Money makers. But who'd vote her into office? Like minded liberals. She wants to help women so she makes sexist movies and get paid tons to do it. Look at some of her movies will ya. Yeah, she is easy on the eye (quote from Obama about other women, besides his wife), but so was Cher and she would never get my vote either. Rambling this afternoon, aren't I?

By: pswindle on 4/10/13 at 5:55

I would vote for her over McConnell. He is as mean as they come.

By: budlight on 4/10/13 at 10:55

I'm sure she's just perfect for the obama political scene. Liberal to the core.

OK, let's outlaw home depot; a guy just got a buzz on at one of the stores. He cut his own arms to the bone. Apparently those saws are dangerous and we need to ban them. Plus 14 are injured and/or killed with knives. Let's outlaw knives.

Another fine example of political MUD-SLINGING......seems some politicians will resort to this practice as an acceptable means of politicking.....even if the mud is a little watery....it has always been thus in AMERICAN politics.....and they wonder why kids when asked ' what do you wanna be when you grow up?' dont say " a politician"......politics has been seen as many things but HONORABLE isnt one of them...just sayin

Ah yes good ole Mitch, Mr. gridlock. So concerned about the deficit as long as its not being spent on weapons and war. So concerned about the deficit tthat he will approve cutting air airport traffic controllers but NOT approve cutting mail delivery for one day a week. Typical DC hypocracy and good ole Mitch is the lead door stop. Lead or get the hell out of the way Mitch. Hope they find someone to diismantle that stuffed shirt.

Go Dores, Preds, Titans! Go Nashville a great place to live!
