Sorry, I hit the wrong button. But it's okay, it didn't have any effect on my brain. I wasn't trying to fool you.

I'm curious. What did ' Obama mean when he said, "voting is the best revenge"? Could "this" be what the meant?

A quote allegedly by his senior adviser Valerie Jarrett has been flying in the wind. She said: After we win this election, it's our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us, and they better be ready, because we don't forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded; the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won't be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over, and we have two judges ready to go."

Did she, perhaps, mean there will be no more elections after this is over because Obama will perform his takeover?

Dumb question, bfra,

How does your 8:32 post you referred to make me a big liar? Is you're mentality so bad it wasn't interpretable to you?

On another subject, what about all the talk of states wanting to leave the union?

Tennessee is one of those, according to one report, although I seriously doubt when push comes to shove, anyone here will actually try to secede.

Texas so far is the only state to reach the number of signatures to even generate any sort of response, but considering the number of military bases in that state, any attempt to forcibly secede will probably be crushed fairly quickly.

I have a good idea who the local ringleaders in Tennessee might be in a secession attempt, and I must say the concept of them being arrested for whatever charges the government applies does generate a warm feeling.

The last time Tennessee tried to leave the Union, it was because conservatives were upset about their firm belief in slavery being challenged.

Now that Democrats are challenging the enslavement of white Americans to the status quot, it seems conservatives want none of that, and would rather secede from the Union again than have actual freedom.

I would agree with you Mike Burch. If only Tennessee could secede from the union without bloodshed I would be as they say in rural Tennesee, "much obliged"

If Tennessee were to secede from the Union and no longer fall under secular federal law, I think we would have anarchy here within a short period of time. Nations that are run by religious zealots usually end up looking like Afghanistan under the Taliban and Iran under the clerics.

Can we really expect people who don't believe in evolution or global warming to govern? The GOP Is a step from deciding that women should have every baby that God and nature intend, sending them back to the Dark Ages.

If Tennessee seceded from the Union, I think large numbers of women would end up leaving Tennessee, to live somewhere other than under the American Taliban.
