Up for Debate: Ramsey on taxing savings

Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10:45pm

Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey told reporters Tuesday he'd back the governor's plan to cut the "grocery tax" but would rather cut a bigger slice out of the tax retirement savings. Ramsey called it “blatantly unfair” that the state taxes people who save for retirement. What are your thoughts on the taxes, the proposed plans to cut them and Ramsey's statement?

I said it was the inaccurate history of Bush that brought about Obama and allowed him to win a second term Nemo.

Ben Dover on the run-up to the Iraq War: It would have been irresponsible not to invade Iraq given the intel at the time.

The "intel" was "sexed up" according to Tony Blair, who regretted being mesmerized by Bush & the Neocons. Tony ought to know...I think that he was understating the case, in typical British fashion.

Much of the "intel" on the yellow cake, Iraq's alleged nuclear program and Sadam's WMD was supplied by undisclosed third party countries....it's an open secret, Israel fed Bush & the Neocons ginned-up, hyped-up "intel", to bolster their flimsy case for elective war against Iraq.

Israel was never made to suffer any consequences for feeding the USA faulty, and phony intelligence which lead to war in Iraq...they got away with murder, once again. With an "ally" like the Jewish State, who needs enemies?

Here's an interesting article that goes back to August of this year and it's on a pro-Israel site. Here is a quote from that article by a former high-level CIA official, Ray McGovern:

"The likelihood of hostilities with Iran before the presidential election in November is increasing," McGovern wrote. "Beware of 'fixed' intelligence. Netanyahu's rhetoric has eerie echoes of the run-up to the Iraq war."

To read the entire article, go here:

Like I said, with an ally like Israel, who needs enemies?

I'll admit, dumba$$,

I don't compare to you on intelligence. Hell, don't you have any at all? Where are you hiding it?

Question, Loner.

What would have been your reaction if you was "in charge" on the 9/11attack? Sit quietly in the corner and say: Now you all should not do that. Dammit, don't do that any more?

There was never any question in what Bush did after the attack on 9/11. It was his War of Choice in Iraq that made his the worst president.

Loner notice how yogi’s next question was aimed to get you back. LOL

Back to troll monkey. This poor old hag must have such a lonely sex life, that she will swing both ways just to get attention.

Dear "Simple Six"

You should listen to your carpetbagger and peacenik LONER. If each of you will go back re-read the posts of every single day you should be able to determine that YOGI dominates this forum. Without him on this board the forum will collapse.

You then like starving rats will have to heave your lower income comments at each other.

Ignoring Yogi will sound the deathknell. You must continue to hurl your insults at this poor bulletproof person. Clicks and flushes count as well.

Like it or not YOGI is the catalyst in your internet life.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/28/12 at 5:35

Seek help yogi, before you hurt yourself.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/28/12 at 5:39

Now I will agree with the silly MONK, but his reasoning is that yogi is taking attention away from him.

Nice links Captain in your 4:01 post...I loved this classic Rumsfeld line:

"Rumsfeld replied that such reports were interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns - the ones we don't know we don't know."

I counted 14 silent "K"s in that mind-boggling quip. I tell you, Rummie was doing Jager Bombs in those days...he may have invented the Jager Bomb.

Intelligence leaks have revealed the nature of the Jager Bomb:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy0OEqb3eO8

BOMB, BOMB, BOMB...BOMB, BOMB, IRAN.....5 Jager Bombs and you're ready to go to war....did the Israelis actually invent the Jager Bomb? We'll find out, right after this...

Ray still can't get that chip off his shoulder that he was born poor on a crappy street in The Nations and still has envy of those of a higher class level that he hasn't and never will achieve. No matter what woman he shacks up with or how many people he cons out of money.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/28/12 at 5:43

Looks like he's gotten into the cheap gin already.

Finally, the Rasp says something that makes complete sense: You should listen to your carpetbagger and peacenik LONER.

How much can I charge for my service, Rasputin72? I ain't no cheapie, ya know. Not like these usurper admirers.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to Ratzputin, but I had to deal with the domestic help. She made a run for it and I had to get the gardener stop raking up the leaves and go after her.

You know how it is with the wetbacks.

Another US Senator has joined the lynch mob led by McCain, Graham & Ayotte...Susan Collins (R-ME) is now exploiting the tragedy in Benghazi for personal political gain.

Although she has yet to be officially nominated by BHO, as Sec of State, Susan Rice is already being attacked by this lynch mob.

Snippet:

"Collins said she’s troubled by what she considers parallels between the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi and the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. U.S. ambassadors in those countries “begged” for added security before the attacks when Rice was assistant secretary of state for African affairs, Collins said. "

Source URL:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-28/republican-senator-raises-new-questions-about-susan-rice.html

Let's examine Susan Collins funding base. According to Maplight .org, Senator Collins raked in $141,518 from the Israel lobby in just this past election cycle. Here's the full dope on Collins:

http://maplight.org/us-congress/legislator/551-susan-collins

As we know, the Israelis hate Obama and would love to see Biden replace him. Taking down BHO, by way of scandal, is the next step in the character assassination process....if that fails, the "targeted killing" is the final option.

Here are the current (but growing) lynch mob members and how much each got from the Israel lobby in just this past election cycle:

John McCain ...$772,327
Lindsey Graham...$84,515
Kelly Ayotte...$90,350
Susan Collins...$141,515

Israel wants BHO out and these four Senators are trying to bring the man down using the tragedy in Benghazi as their call to action. I predict that there shoddy attempts to smear the POTUS will fail....but that will not deter these predators....they are simply out to get President Obama....no matter what it takes.

By: Loner on 11/28/12 at 6:41

Homophone error: "there shoddy attempts" s/h/b "their shoddy attempts" in my 5:32 post....sorry 'bout that.

By: Loner on 11/28/12 at 10:12

If the NCP staff is looking for a suggestion for tomorrow's Up For Debate topic, let me suggest that Nov 29, 2012 will mark 65 years since the UN partitioned Palestine into Jewish and Arab sectors...that touched off the beginning of the Great Theocratic Wars of the 20th and 21st Centuries...surely that is newsworthy, especially in light of the Palestinian bid for upgraded UN status this week....a move that the US and Israel oppose.

Was the Kenyan [Sunday Standard] newspaper correct when it issued a Sunday edition Barack Obama was born in Kenya?

I'll make a "deal" with you, gdiafante. Through your ultimate knowledge and admiration of Barry, prove to me when and where your man Barry was born and I'll read every word in that bill. He can keep his school's information, his fake SSN and fake registration number secret.

Until then, refer which US Code 1408 topic you're referring to; its title and section. OK?

By: yogiman on 11/29/12 at 10:07

gdiafante,

it's obvious [snopes] is an Obama admirer. It's also obvious Barry's medical records are fakes. It's also obvious the "birth certificate" he finally showed when Donald Trump brought him "out in the open" was a fake. It's also obvious the SSN number he is using was originally issued to a man from Connecticut. It's also obvious his service registration number is a fake.

So tell me, what knowledge of truth do you know of Barry? Is it too much to ask for proof as to who the man sitting in the Oval Office is? Remember, when you was in service, that's the man that could order (tell) you to go and die for this nation. Would you want to obey his orders without question?

With him refusing to identify himself, I sure as hell wouldn't.

And also by the way, as I have posted before: The hospital he wrote a "free advertisement" letter to didn't exist when he was supposedly born there. Is that why they won't display it on the wall as the birthplace of an American President?

By: bfra on 11/29/12 at 3:17

gdiafante - I have a rock wall in my backyard that isn't as hard as the old coot's head.

By: yogiman on 11/29/12 at 4:40

gdiafante,

We obviously don't know who in the hell Barry is, because he won't identify himself.

So my question: Don't you think a Kenyan newspaper would know his name if they wrote an article on him running for an office in the US? Why would they claim him to be born in Kenya if they didn't know it?

Wait, wait. I understand. That would be like the Hawaiian newspapers printing his grandparents address as his parents address. Just a little error on their part, I reckon. Bad boo boo, wasn't it.

Apparently they didn't know he was going to sneak in the Oval Office in the future. You know, usurp it illegally? Damn, doesn't that make him a criminal?
