Do you still hold out hope for the Titans in the second half of the season? While it is possible, will they make the playoffs?

The best hope for the Titans is to get a new owner.

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 5:18

Well, Captain, Adams doesn't take the snaps.
Give the 90 year old credit. I never thought he'd dump both Young and Fisher at the same time.
Munchak was promising until yesterday when he "supported" Paterno.
Maybe his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor?
And the CJ money/ hold-out fiasco was devastating.
He now averages 2.4 yds. a carry....for $53.million. Two years ago it was 10 yds a carry for $1. million.
Fans will still go to the games and boo. Still some fun.
Happy 11/11/11.

Here is a reason way Rick Perry wants to change the EPA

I woke up yesterday wondering why the Today show was so intent on reporting a deer caught in the headlights of a car, but realized it was only Rick Perry.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 5:36

If that is true dargent, you got to ask why he kept them on for so long.

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 5:44

I don't know about you, but I like seeing 11/11/11 at the top of the posts.
Maybe something miraculous will happen today.
Like "yogi" posts something coherent and rational.
Yesterday he said the USA being in Iraq didn't qualify as a "war".
5 aircraft carriers, 150,000 ground troops, bombs, about 6 different catchy names for "Operations", 10 years, 4,500 dead soldiers, ....but, not a "war?

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 5:48

VY was only 27. I think they keep thinking he could mature, improve, and win.
Problem was, we lost Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch, etc. KC was too old.
Every time Fisher wanted to get the thing rolling, contract negotiations came up and the good players bolted for more money. I think Cincinnatti gave Albert $100. million.(!)
And he can't run the 40 in less than 1 hour.
That's all it has become: MONEY. And huge egos.

Loner,

I hate to tell you this knowing you're an Obama lover, but actually true Americans would accept anyone in that office legally over the usurper in there now.
*****************************************************************

This pompous gasbag is so full of himself I am surprise as to why he has not floated into the stratosphere.

A real American would not be that stupid unless it is a gullible Tea Bag. Oh wait I just described yogi.

What would you expect from a farm boy like yogi, he screw around with the livestock and see UFO’s.

Yogi,
Give it up. Your facts are wrong, and I'm tired of reading your crap everytime you post. You need to read the right book with the right facts. His step-father never adopted him, and if he did he would still be a citiizen of the US. His Mother was an American Citizen. You hate him so badly that you have to harp on the same ole lies that you chose to believe. I had a grandfather like you, and he thought he knew everything, and the truth is he did not know a damn thing.
*****************************************************************

Facts, are you kidding? This old fogi would not no the facts biting him in the ass now.

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 6:10

I just don't see the difference between Romney's dad being born in Mexico and Obama's dad being born in Kenya.
The kids were born on American soil and that's the litmus test for President.
Otherwise, we'd have Arnold for prez.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 6:31

There are no difference d7 except in yogi’s micro brain (and I use the word micro brain loosely). This whole brainless effort on yogi’s part is his way of being a racist. I know he says he is for Cain, but that is a deceptive tactic. He doesn’t think Cain can win, so there is no harm in him saying he is for him. I suspect that tiny thoughtless spot he calls a brain, could become the next Big Bang if Cain did win. LOL

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 6:38

I vote for Herman Cain, but I don’t think the boy can be elected. Not enough brothers in the Republican part you know.

Kyle Pyle-

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 6:46

This has to be a bad time to be a Republican. The only candidates are Tea Bag favorite and they keep stumbling with their foot in their mouths. Or the one good contender, but he is a Mormon.

I guess this is what happens when you line of thoughts or so narrow and limited.

LOL Ben.

I believe that some of Cain's accusers would consider this "sexual harrassment" by internet.

Also, Loner: Only 2 years in the military? That's hardly enough time to even figure out what the military is all about. And as far as letter carrier: They get paid very good bucks to do that job. So please stop your bloating! Oops, I mean gloating! And I'm sure you have a great pension from the USPS. So pleeeeeze hush it up!

Ben, careful about naming body parts on line; those Cain women are perusing the net for victims!

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 7:39

Well, dargent7, there isn't anyone other than you to idiots (meaning you and dumba..) because the others have been given the day off to honor the veterans.

I just wonder how many, other than fellow veterans, will honor those that have given their lives so they can stand and complain today?

By: bfra on 11/11/11 at 7:41

Bud - What is your military record? People with pensions, have worked & earned those pensions, but then you wouldn't know that, as from your past comments, you never held 1 job long enough to know. So back under the bridge, troll!

By: bfra on 11/11/11 at 7:43

yogi - Only 2 idiots have commented, thus far, you & Bud.

By: treehugger7 on 11/11/11 at 7:43

What about Beth Harwell running against Jim Cooper? She is the most intelligent and reasonable of the repubs. I think that would be a tough run for Cooper. Beth has moved to the right since I moved here (in late seventies). She is still one of the best in the legislature.

By: gdiafante on 11/11/11 at 7:47

Go out and thank a veteran today. And not the usual "thank you for your service" politcal BS that everyone does. Actually thank them. And their family...

By: BenDover on 11/11/11 at 7:50

Staying abreast can be quite titillating.

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 7:50

In related news, a Blue Hawaii helicopter crashed yesterday killing all aboard.( 2 couples + the pilot).
One couple just got married in PA.
Can you imagine getting married, going to Hawai'i for your honeymoon, and dying in a sight seeing tour crash?
And I thought the traffic yesterday here in Nashville was bad.

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 7:52

dumba..,

Thank you for posting the comment pswindle made to me yesterday. I'll give my answer to him/her on today's post.

I am not going to give it up. The simple fact that you and your fellow idiots on this site are so willing to accept a usurper in office as your president shows just how ignorant you and your fellow posters about the Constitution of our nation and the laws written on the books. Barack Obama is not in that office legally. Common sense (if you had any) would tell you he would quickly have shown any evidence he had proving he was.

He put out a book titled 'Dreams from My Father'. Being such a big lovers of his (he being someone you have no knowledge of), I suggest you read it.

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 7:53

gD: You're an ex -Marine: THANK YOU for your service.
Semper fi.
"yogi", that's Latin to you.

By: bfra on 11/11/11 at 8:01

I'll ditto on d7's comment! Thanks gdiafante! Two of my best friends are ex-Marines & the best a person could have.

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 8:06

bfra,

Only you and your fellow Obama loving posters are the idiots on this site. And you are proving it with each post you make. You apparently haven't read one article about Barry Soetoro. And I believe his legal name is still Barry Soetoto, otherwise he would have let the world know he had naturalized his American citizenship and noted his renewal of his father's name.

All the facts I have given about that usurper is on line on many sites. And as I have posted before, unless you are co-communists with him, your biggest fear should be congress for knowingly allowing him to usurp that office.

By: bfra on 11/11/11 at 8:18

yogi - How do those regurgitated burps taste? Guess you are accustomed to them now.

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 8:20

dargent7,

Because you aren't a veteran, you apparently don't know the Marine's marines are the children of the Navy's sailors. We took them where ever they needed to go, gave them good beds to sleep on, fed them and a nice 'outhouse' aboard our ships.

We even furnished them the boats to take them to shore when the "wanted" to go.

Dargent7, can you give the definition of Semper fi? What does it mean?

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 8:25

bfra,

You idiocy is an obvious fact. I'm sorry you don't have an education on the Constitution or the laws of our land.

By the way, I buy shirt pocket sized copies of the Constitution I hand out. Would you like one? You could carry it with you to refer to when needed, which is often to you. Its good reading.

Dung Beetle, if you are expecting me to honor you, an animal molester. Then you are just going to be disappointed.

By: Loner on 11/11/11 at 8:28

Good morning, Nashville.

As for the Titans, I have no comment, except, "GO BILLS!!"

So, Bud, please share the dates of your military service, and yes, I earned that pension. Thanks, BFRA, for your support.

I would not normally trot out my resume, but I reject the allegation that I'm not a "true American"...I will ignore the poster who accused me of being less than a true American....trolls should be ignored, not honored with a response.

Gdiafante and all the other vets deserve our gratitude and respect.

I wonder how Bush and Cheney can look in the mirror on Veteran's Day...a couple of chicken hawks who sent 4,500 US soldiers to their deaths...to settle an old score between the Bush family and Saddam Hussein. Thousands of maimed US soldiers, hundreds of amputees; some have lost their minds....for what? To enrich Haliburton and massage Junior Bush's ego?

Our Prince of Peace, Commander-In-Chief the Nobel laureate, is currently gearing up for an assault on Iran...as commanded by our Israeli overlords.....Obama done got his mind right, Boss.

The IAEA report is being used as a casus belli...even though the report says that Iran stooped working on nuclear triggers etc. back in 2003. Israel claims that the threat is imminent and Congress is giving Netanyahu the go-ahead to strike.....we will be sucked into this....$8/gal. gas should be the immediate result...Haliburton will enjoy astronomical profits as a result....and the US economy will go into freefall...perfect scenario for the GOP-TP hopefuls.

yogi: Like Obama, I was 10 during the Vietnam war.
I apologizing for not enlisting when I turned 11.
I did the unthinkable, like Obama, and enrolled in college at 18 and there were no wars.
Tell me again why all the 'Operations" in Iraq, bombs, occupation, and ground troops don't qualify it as a "war".

Hello gdia. It is good to see your post.

By: dargent7 on 11/11/11 at 8:51

It's still 11/11/11:
yogi will contaminate this board all day.
I'm glad gD came out of retirement for Veteran's Day.
I actually miss the old nutz, "chief" and "dusty" compared to the current board.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 8:57

Maybe we should give yogi recognitions of distinction for his diligent work with his UFO sightings.

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 9:08

dargent7,

To assist you with you college education, by law, a conflict with another nation is not a war unless, or until, it is declared by congress the conflict is a state of war. As I have posted before, we have not been in an official war since WWII. Yeah, technically idiotic when men are dying in a conflict but you have to use the proper terms in technical conflicts.

Much has been posted here about Bush putting us into two 'wars' in his tour of duty. But Barry now has us in six 'conflicts' and no statement has been posted about that. I wonder why?

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 9:14

yogi-

Does the six conflicts include the War with Mars?

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 9:21

Loner,

You stated you was in the Army for two years. When did any branch of the military accept a two year enlistment?

When I joined the Navy in 1947 the minimum enlistment was at least three years in all branches. Back then, you had to be 21 years old to become an adult to vote so you could jjoin and be discharged on your 21st birthday if you had served at least three years.

As it turned out we got into that 'conflict' with North Korea and everyone was extended for an additional year (like a draft) so I re-enlisted for a four year term. Hell, I wanted to be paid for it. I got 300 buck for that re-enlistment. How many thousands do they get today.

I remember my son in law was offered thirty thousand to re-enlist because of his line of work.

By: yogiman on 11/11/11 at 9:27

Sorry dumba..,

If you had enough intelligence to ask a simple question, I could give you a simple answer you might be able to understand. But I'm sorry, you don't seem to have any simple questionable ability to ask a simple question.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/11/11 at 9:36

My mistake Dung Beetle.

The question must be too hard for you to understand. Name the six conflicts.
