What's next for George Zimmerman following the jury's verdict in the Trayvon Martin killing? What's next for gun laws and race relations?

You know, bfra,

You constantly accuse me of being wrong but you never offer any proof of your accusation. Why, don't you have any?

And I give you my word, that ain't no lie!

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 1:52

OMG Ben, your fabricated tales get more out of line everytime you try to add more to them. Learn to read & comprehend what you read, then teach yogi.

By: brrrrk on 7/15/13 at 1:54

Yogi,

How are you and your ewe doing?

By: brrrrk on 7/15/13 at 1:56

Yogi's favorite Aerosmith song....

I'm Baaaaa-ck in the Saddle Again....

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 1:56

yogi you don't have a word that isn't a LIE!

By: Captain Nemo on 7/15/13 at 2:02

Ben says Zimmerman was right. Just where was he right and even if he was right, that is no excuse. Ben I don't think you are a s racist as much as you are nuts for this excuse for murder and get out of jail law.

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 2:02

And you don't have the intelligence to prove me wrong, bfra.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 2:04

yogi nobody can prove anyone wrong if they have never been right! Even a brainless blob should know that.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/15/13 at 2:05

There is no intelligence in the universe to prove to a fool that he is a fool and Comrade yogi has to be the biggest fool of all.

By: brrrrk on 7/15/13 at 2:06

Ben, yogi, Jugs, et al.

I know you're all probably not a Men's Wearhouse type... especially given that George Zimmer, the founder, was a Jew and all....

So here's a place for the "discriminating" right winger....

Now I wait for his stupid and limp come–back.

"And you don't have the intelligence to prove me wrong"

ROFLMFAO..... yogi, do you ever read anything you write?

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 2:38

Well, brrrrk,

I've sold my saddle and put my ewe (you) in the lower bottom down by the creek so I can have more time to try to educate you and your buddies. A hard job, but I'm trying.

Now you mention Bud, yogi, jug, et al on this site. I'm going to have to make note of you (brrrrk), bfra, dumba$$ (Capatin Nemo), et al, in an egotistical frame of mind. You think you know it, but your ignorance proves otherwise.

As with all other accusations you've made of me, if you're as smart as you think you are, prove me wrong.

Damn, I've been waiting for years for one of you to prove me wrong. It seems you're too ignorant to come up with an answer.

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 2:51

Not sure why the question strikes me now but what does bfra stand for bfra?

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 2:57

Something more important than Bend over!

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 2:59

C'mon... don't be coy, bfra. I'm really curious.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 3:00

brrrrk - From the stupidity always in his comments, NO he not only doesn't read, I don't think he even knows what he says. He sure doesn't know that your have to be "right" about something to be proven wrong & he has never put anything on this board but LIES.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 3:01

Not being coy, just honest!

BenDover? Is that a sexual predilection? Top or bottom....?

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:04

Spill the beans bfra...

"Bigfoot Field Research Association" is the best one I've seen so far.

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:08

It actually originated from an online rant about 13 years or so ago on the Nashville Digest before that site went defunct. Something about intrusive government installing sensors on our sewage drains to monitor prohibited substances or something; and out of that BenDover was born.

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:11

BenDover predicted too that Taxpayer Health care would be the inroad to government telling us what we can and can't eat... Tax surcharges on Fastfood was predicted at first but it looks more now like the foodies want to jump straight to bans on things that are not healthy... like salt.

Right, we all know it's much easier to remove salt from preprocessed food than it is to just add it at the table if it isn't salty enough for your tastes....

By: brrrrk on 7/15/13 at 3:24

Of course Ben, you could be anti-choice when it comes to salt too....

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:27

I mentioned salt because NYC took up the ban... and now the CDC is saying the science behind the health benefits to reducing salt is total bunk.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 3:31

Well Ben with your feeble way of thinking, whatever you come up with that suits your fancy is fine with me.

By: Pelvis on 7/15/13 at 3:31

What in the hell is this Nashville City Paper? I followed a link in my email because I felt like discussing the Zimmerman case. What I found is 4 pages of comments by the same 4 or 5 people having an anonymous d*** measuring contest!!! I know these folks are probably getting your site mad hits but it turned me off. I'm not going to discuss the case. I won't come back after this comment to follow up. And I'm one sure these angry people will have a really neat reply for me that I'll never read as well. So don't waste your time angry commenters.

You'd be better off banning folks that hijack threads for petty arguments. Kind of makes your site look stupid. But hey, it's all about hits and making money so I sort of get it.

Gee Ben, how lazy do you have to be to need to have salt added to your food? Why is it such a big deal to have low sodium processed food and just add your own salt to your taste? Isn't that freedom of choice?

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:31

You can still get purple drank in NYC though. Just gotta practice the chronic cough for the PA at the Obamacare clinic to get the codine. Protesters are now just giving away the skittles and tea part.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 3:35

Ben you sure are up on what it takes to make all these dopeing mixtures. Does that come with a lot of practice or using?

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:39

Pelvis - this is what I have to say about the issue if you do want to return for discussion.

Trayvon Martin was a victim though. A victim of a culture that taught him to rage against civil society rather than to be a part of it. He's a victim of a political class that derives its power from divisiveness and preaches a zero sum game mentality that destroys the hope and promise of young African American men just to maintain enough discord to justify its own continuing existence. He was taught from a young age to dwell on unfairness rather than to ignore the things he cannot change and to persevere via the many opportunities offered to overcome such injustices.

By example, he's a victim of our police state that teaches him that the odds of him doing time in prison add up to an almost certainty because 1 in 8 black males between the ages of 18 and 35 are serving sentences AT THIS MOMENT and there's no doubt the mentors of his circumstance were among them.

Trayvon was a victim... as was Zimmerman... as are thousands of people every day in this country; victims of a subset of our society society bent on perpetuating angst for political gain and, in the case of the media and rap music industry, perpetuating angst for profit.

And yet Ben replies..... :-)

By: BenDover on 7/15/13 at 3:43

Lil' Wayne turn me o' toit... bfra... yo.

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 3:46

Or could that be "big fat ridiculous answers", BenDover?

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 3:54

Ben - Yep, Lil Wayne sounds about your speed!

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 3:57

Pelvis,

I agree, everyone on this site should just debate back and forth in a rational manner. But there seems to be some who, either don't know how, or it's a game for them. They seem to be able to accuse, but they're unable to prove.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 4:06

yogi - You should practice what your preach! It is impossible to debate with a brainless blob.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 4:11

Bet yogi is peeing all over himself, thinking oboy a new poster I can funnel my LIES to.

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 4:20

bfra,

It's a shame you don't have the intelligence you feel you have to understand what you're posing on this site. I invite any of you to show one time when I initiated these little tidbits.

I'm a counter puncher, not a jabber. You throw a punch at me and you can bet your posterior I'm going to swing back at your jaw.

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 4:22

And by the way, bfra, I haven't peed on myself since I quit wearing diapers, so don't accuse me of trying to be like you.

By: bfra on 7/15/13 at 4:23

yogi - Gnat blips don't hurt, swing away! LMAO at your stupidity.

By: yogiman on 7/15/13 at 8:17

Sorry, bfra, you're exposing your stupidity more every day as you claim but can't sustain.

By: FaceBook:Emmett... on 7/17/13 at 12:07

There was a GUILTY verdict. Trayvon Martin was found guilty of aggravated assault - and properly so. The race-baiters and the gun grabbers would be smart to shut up about the whole things because all they're doing is bringing more and more attention to the fact of their stunning defeat. One man and his lawyers crushed the full power of the state and the media arrayed to destroy him. Now, he will destroy them with his civil suits and make gazillions of well-deserved dollars. Suck it up, cupcake. LOL
