[Belmont University] students need to understand: When you choose a particular college, you should agree to go by their rules. If you don't agree with their rules, look for another school until you find one that agrees with you in your way of thinking.

It’s like going into service. You obey [military] orders. At least, you damn well better (just ask some vets).

Mr. "yogi": Are "gays" in the military also following your beloved, "rules"?

Yogi is confused. He has also stated that the military person who refused orders due to the delusion that Obama isn't eligible to be President is a hero.

Maybe the NCP's intentions was to illustrate yogi's blatent hypocrisy...

By: dargent7 on 12/8/10 at 7:20

My God...Off-Topic:
Yesterday was the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and today is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death.
Which is worse?

By: govskeptic on 12/8/10 at 7:22

One would think Belmont has all of a sudden decided to change from
a Liberal bastillon of openness and press oriented political correctness
to one of a conservative faith based nature. Did not these professors
and coaches and even the students know anything about the history of this
privately run institution prior to seeking admission or employment there?

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 7:23

It's not really fair to compare the two, a lot more people died because of Pearl.

I wasn't born until years after the war was over, so Lennon means more to me. In fact, I still haven't completely gotten over his senseless death.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/10 at 7:30

If yogi had a whole brain he would see how silly that statement is. First if we were to follow, “you should agree to go by their rules,” then we would still be under English rules. And then there is that we must obey military orders and he wants us to ask some vets. How about asking some WW2 German vets, after all they were just following orders.

By: dargent7 on 12/8/10 at 7:49

gD: I'm the same age as you (however, better looking).
When they play on tv Lennon playing "Imagine" in his home with camera in a tight shot, it brings tears to your eyes.
I hope they let Chapman out so someone can whack him.

By: global_citizen on 12/8/10 at 8:29

Yogi's argument is ridiculous. I can't understand the mentality of people who feel everyone should just accept things as they are and never work for or advocate changes they feel make progress. Yogi probably would have told Rosa Parks to just get up and go to the back of the bus, don't make waves.

I respect the Rosa Parks-es of the world. Spineless conformity is way overrated.

By: girliegirl on 12/8/10 at 8:30

@Yogiman Absolutely! This rule applies to people attending Muslim schools, as well. And don't think that Waco's Baylor U is any different. :-)

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/10 at 8:44

global_citizen-

All of yogi arguments are ridiculous. He has bragged many times on this board that he has only half a brain and when you read his post then you understand that there isn't much going in the working half.

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 8:47

He lost all credibility when he bragged that he would disown and then forget any of his children if they were homosexual.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/10 at 9:04

gdia-

Credibility has nothing to do with it. He is just a nasty old man that was never taught any better. He want learn anything new or let people be. I try to feel sorry for him, but he is just too mean, for me to have any feeling of compassion for him.

He brings out the worst in people.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/10 at 9:35

Six weeks and three days after I had my operation I am going back to work. See you later.

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 9:35

Nemo, I take a lot of the talk here with a grain of salt, but when you start to talk about your kids, it takes it to an entirely new level.

By: Tull on 12/8/10 at 9:41

Yogiman is right !
I don't go in a strip club and get embarrased when I see a naked woman.
Just like I don't go in a baptist church and get offended when they pray in Jesus name.

By: yogiman on 12/8/10 at 9:47

Gentlemen, and you Ladies, too. I am me.. and you are you. I have my way of thoughts and you have yours. Of course, you all think yours are much superior to mine. Even with my half-brain, I would be delighted to take an IQ test with you.

As for your statement about my thoughts of Mrs. Parks, global_citizen, you have no idea what my thoughts would be. But no, I would not ask her to go to the back of the bus. At my age then, I would probably sit down beside here and dare anyone to try to move us (and I am white).

I, and my siblings, were taught in the 1930s and 40s all people were created equal. We spoke to black seniors as Mister and Ma'am. I could tell you numerous tales about my childhood playing with black children, but I honestly don't believe you would have enough adequate brain power to understand it. Some of my best 'buddies' in service were black men. Where have you stood in life in living with the Negro race? Any of them your 'buddies'?

dargent7, yes, we had homosexuals in service when I was there, as all of you veterans know. But they kept it to themselves. Have you ever tried to use your brain enough to understand why homosexuals want the world to know they are 'different' than the common people of this earth?

Do you feel like running around telling the world you are a regular normal person that wants their sexual desires to be known to all? What goes on in my bedroom is nobody's business but mine.

And by the way, y'all, I was standing on the side of the road guarding it when Dr. Martin Luther Kings was having his march in Montgomery, Alabama. Was any of you in the parade, or guarding it? Sorry if I didn't recognize you, I had too much on my mind of possible events back then.

By: AmyLiorate on 12/8/10 at 9:49

somehow I just don't think John Lennon would agree with "I hope they let Chapman out so someone can whack him"

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 10:02

I agree, Amy. I doubt Chapman is ever released, but my guess is that he would probably be killed if they did release him. Even though that doesn't jive with Lennon's beliefs, to some, that punishment is long overdue.

gdiafanti,

I didn't get the education on using this computer like most of you all have. I wish had the knowledge I could forward the information I have to show you what I am 'talking' about. If you are willing for an illegal person to hold the Oval Office, we may as well, as I've said, replace the old Sear-Roebuck catalog in the outhouse with the Constitution. It isn't worth reading anymore. Or don't you give a damn?

If you are ready and want this nation to become more communistic, I can understand your way of thinking.

As for your post 7:10 comment about my statement about Lt. Col Lakin refusing orders because there has been no evidence Obama is in office legally; facts are facts. I suggest you look up the laws of 1961 when Obama says he was born in Hawaii. I also suggest you read the Constitution about the legal qualifications for a person to become president of our nation. There is no way in cornbread hell Obama can be in that office legally.

To me, it would be an honor to salute Col Lakin for his effort to bring Obama's illegal role into the light.

Two questions: Why would any evidence brought forth embarrass him? And if he is in office legally, why has he spent millions of dollars to keep all of his records secret?

If you have a good technical answer, I sure would like to know.

Another question,gdiafanti,

Is the man in office Barack Husseinj Obama or Barry Soetoro? How did he receive a social security number from Connecticut when he had never been there? Why has he used so many social security numbers?
Am I worried about the way this nation is going? Hell yes! I'm wondering what it will be like for my grandchildren. What kind of nation will they get? And I'd say, at your age, you will find out too soon and then just wonder; what the hell happened?

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 11:22

I worry for your grandchildren too. Especially given your stupidity.

Mission leader has us slated for another meeting tomorrow. C.A.B.A.L Inc. is ramping our plans. The tinfoil division can't keep up with production.

Brrrk, GD, you guys have any idea what this meeting will tell us? I hope the coffee is better this time.

Do you guys have an extra tinfoil hat I can borrow? My wife was baking cookies and needed mine...

By: yogiman on 12/8/10 at 11:57

gdiafante,

As beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, intelligence is in the brain of the beholder. I'm sorry you don't have enough brain to hold any actual intelligence.

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 12:00

Wow, I almost feel sorry for you after that comeback...

almost

By: dargent7 on 12/8/10 at 12:17

My best guess, is that Lennon would echo Jesus Christ and say, "Forgive him".
Not Yoko, or Julian or Sean.
Kill the bastard.
He forefited his life and experience on planet Earth when he pulled the trigger 5 times...into Lennon's back.
He stalked Lennon for weeks before a pre-meditated murder.
"Double Fantasy" was good, but who knows what Lennon could of supplied the world in tolerance, love, and peace, for the past 30 years? He was way beyond the idiots who run all the various countries now.

By: bfra on 12/8/10 at 12:18

I feel sorry for the po' ole lame brain, that can't get it thru his head, with the 1/2 brain that he likes to brag about, that Obama is President of the United States and there is not a damn thing he can do about it, no matter how much garbage he pulls up & post on this site. Get over yourself and quit boring everybody with the same ole' s**t!
Yes, yogi, that means you!

By: AmyLiorate on 12/8/10 at 12:23

wasnt chapman insane? do you not believe it or is it ok to kill people who don't have faculties to know what they're doing?

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 12:45

He knew what he was doing. He stalked and murdered Lennon.

By: judyboodo@yahoo.com on 12/8/10 at 12:50

Of all the silliness on this letters responses dargent7's comparing of Pearl Harbor to Lennon is almost sacrilegious. Lennon's death was a shame but in the great scheme it was one man murdered by another. Tragic but repeated many times every day. Pearl Harbor was not only an act of war but over two thousand died in the service of their country. I don't feel there is really any comparison.

By: AmyLiorate on 12/8/10 at 12:55

Japans actions awakened a sleeping giant.

Chapmans actions put a giant to sleep.

By: AmyLiorate on 12/8/10 at 12:56

He also thought that Jodi Foster would be his friend. Sane?

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 12:56

Both were due to a conspiracy to put Obama in office.

(I found a spare tinfoil hat)

By: gdiafante on 12/8/10 at 12:59

Did he have mental issues? Yes. Clinically insane and unaware of his actions? No.

By: dargent7 on 12/8/10 at 1:00

"judy": Lennon's music mirrored and changed an entire generation. 50 years later, still does.
No other group, besides the "Strawberry Alarm Clock" has that impacting influence.
Maybe the "Partrige Family".

By: dargent7 on 12/8/10 at 1:02

Amy: David Hinckley, who shot Ronald Reagan, was after Jodi Foster.
As was I.

By: dargent7 on 12/8/10 at 1:04

s/h/b/ John Hinckley. Same vein as Mary Winkler.
Love to have those two as roomates in my basement.

In reply to your question posted at 5:18, dargent7; yes the "gays' followed orders just like all of the "ordinary" people. And they kept their sexual attitudes to themselves. But you're asking me what it was like 60 years ago. I'm sure our military is different now, just like our legislature.

Hopefully, you will gain a little more knowledge in your coming years. You will be amazed how you could have been so stupid in your earlier years.

bfra, Yes, I know who you are talking about when you make your stupid comments about me. I may only have half the size of brain you have, but mine is apparently doubled of yours in knowledge. If you can prove Obama is legally in that office (Please excuse me, Ladies), I would kiss your posterior on the square and give you two hours to gather a crown to watch it. I don't know where you got your idiocy but you sure don't know what you are saying when you say Obama is in office legally.

The question remains; why is he keeping it hidden? Only he knows the answer; he isn't in office legally. As I have said; wait and you will see.

By: bfra on 12/8/10 at 2:18

Well it is obvious yogi, he is in the office. It is more up to you, to back YOUR claims that he is not in there legally. Which, after your ranting for months, you have been unable to do.

As the saying goes, "put up or shut up"!

What was MDC's idea? I see that he has 'Catcher in the Rye' on his Amazon wish list. Sheesh, some people!

By: yogiman on 12/8/10 at 3:09

bfra,

If you have any brain at all, think about how this issue happened. Congress allowed it to happen. Why? Don't you have enough brain to wonder why? Or don't you care?

As I have said before, they questioned John McCain, but they didn't question Barack Obama (we can only presume that is his name). Why did they question one but not the other? They obviously knew his basic childhood background.

Why did Pelosi give Hawaii a different form certifying him to have the Democratic ticket than the other 49 states?

Why has no court in the nation looked into the matter? The Supreme Court is supposed to be a non-partisan department. Why do they give constant 5-4 decisions based on political consideration?

With people with thoughts like you the current population in this nation, it's obvious the USA is on the down hill side of the road to Rome.

How can you explain why I have seen Michelle Obama at a meeting (of lesbians) explain why they took a trip to Africa... his homeland of Kenya? Why did the Kenyan Ambassador make such statements he was born in Kenya and they were placing his home as a monument? Why did he go to Kenya and back a man running for the Kenyan presidency as a US Senator. It was so unethical and his 'teammates' didn't question him about it.

It is said he is the first black president of the US. Is He? Why can't he be considered the 44th white president? He can only be considered the first Mulatto president.

This is going to be the most politically different issue in American history that we have ever known of.
