Number 1 and Number 2
The daily revelations of the secrecy and misdeeds of Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld without any constitutional authority to do any of it reminds me of the Austin Powers movie adventures with Cheney and Rumsfeld closely paralleling "Dr. Evil" (for Cheney, note the actual resemblance) and Number 2, his comrade in crime.
[We’ll leave the role of Mini Me to a confused President Bush who was not even cognizant of anything that was going on.]
This Bush mob has stained our country forever and their comedic evil can in no way can ever be considered funny as the Austin Powers movies were intended to be. Enough has already been revealed that war crimes trials should on the table, but it seems that the American people don't stand much of a chance at receiving justice.
President Obama should insist that the justice department proceed in that direction. If not, it will be hard to proceed into the future with hope or any kind of standards if the crimes of the past are allowed to evaporate for the sake of moving ahead.

I didn't say so in the beginning because I wanted to see how long you'd go with your ignorant scenarios. We are trained to deal with situations that come up. Granted, there is the unexpected and we deal with it.
What I don't understand is why you feel the need to try to dehumanize the military. We are people same as you...we just have a very difficult job to do.

We wouldn't go up to a baby anyway. It's not considered polite nor is it considered prudent for us to touch or deal with kids without the parents there. It has a tendency to make the parents and the rest of their family and village upset with us. That is their culture. So you see, no matter what, we would not be able to go up to the child anyway.

I didn't vote for him...so if he's illegitimate, then I can truthfully say I didn't put him into office. By the same point, if I follow his orders, I'm obeying what is generally accepted as orders from the CINC...so I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. Win/win.

I am a real soldier whether you choose to accept that or not...have been for 23 years now, 19 of which has been spent in the National Guard.

Heh, I don't need excuses. When one's life and the lives of his fellow soliders are on the line, you do what you have to to make sure everyone goes home.
Call it what you will...but remember it IS government sanctioned and approved by the POTUS and Congress...and defacto by the American people.

Apparently we are having a miscommunication. I am saying nothing about an eye for an eye.
I am saying that if they try to kill us, we make sure they go before we do...that is how a war is fought.
As for abortion being a form of birth control, I know it is not...just as I know it HAS been used as such...not all the time but it has happened. My point is, it is rare for an abortion to be required to save a mother's life....it's just not THAT common...so there must be other reasons other than saving a mother's life that it is being done. Reasons which compared to the loss of a human life are ridiculous.
Hope they can save this guy! And yeah, if a commando group can go in, wipe out all the terrorists and save the guy, I would have NO problem with that.

I am a realist...I hide behind nothing. I am a US soldier. If you don't like what soldiers do in war, then tell your Congressman to stop it.
