Going away? Not likely
After quitting as Alaska's governor, Sarah Palin's new book, Going Rogue, arrives on bookshelves in November. "Rogue" was her affectionate nickname as the VP candidate during John McCain's failed Presidential run.
I guess it was so cute and fit her that she's capitalizing on it's success.
Known as the champion of the GOP's position to derail and cause failure with anything President Obama says or does, she coined the phrase, "Death Panels" to describe his health care reform project. And, if after listening to her speak, if your own child doesn't have "Down Syndrome," you actually feel guilty.
I wonder if she has a chapter in her book, "How to Quit Your Job," or "How to Let Everyone Down"?
Instead of "going rogue," I wish she'd just go away.

All chief knows is what is programmed into that tiny chip he calls a brain.
Chakracon: You're as dim-witted as Ames. You said for me to get off my "Fat-ass" numerous times. That's why I mentioned my height & weight, like Ames loves to do.
But I lied...I weighed myself at the meat processing plant, and I'm at 220.
All that tofu.
Blanket,
More like the kid who promised the sun, moon and stars...but then failed to do the most basic of promises.
Gdia,
And yet, you and Blanket continue to ridicule me and try to minimize my points. Strange that, if I sound so ridiculous.
Or is it that you're worried about what I am mentioning too and are in denial?
Guy's: Could we leave my much aligned penis out of the comments today?
And Chakracon: When's the last time you saw a penis? (Sam Kinneson).
Once again chief is confused.
I guess Chief really is that naive.
Can we just say childish?
Gdia,
I assume you CAN say it...but it doesn't apply.
As for my comments about critical broken promises, they stand on their own merits and have yet to be refuted.
No, I've stated my position, it's too early to judge as it's a work in progress. You may be the most blindly partisan poster on this board. That's what makes your points ridiculous.
I think it is more like decimal point for chief.
yep, childish.
however, on a good note, did anyone read the link I posted? Reid, Leahy and Schumer announced that they would strip the health insurance industry of its exemption from antitrust laws. that's huge!
Sorry, my bad about the italics...
Chief: At least Obama didn't quit. He went for it, and goddamn it, he got it.
Palin quit for the money to write a book for $5. million up front. Can you say, "Sell out"? Sure you can. Anybody who would vote for her is a brain-dead Republican. Oh, that's redundant.
From my perspective, Palin has essentially become a wedge within her own party. It's become a serious love/hate thing. The mainstream GOP loves her because she brings in the far right (and their money) while at the same time they hate her because that same far right will never get them back in power... and they know that. It's an adorable conundrum for the GOP. Keep it up Palin.... :-)
Gdia,
Say what you will but no one has proven what I said was wrong.
No matter, you are correct in one thing...time will tell if more promises will be and will continue to be broken.
Maybe I should say that cheif has fracture points.
I'll fix it
There... fixed...
"Say what you will but no one has proven what I said was wrong."
Yes, I have. You said he has not kept any promises. He has kept many. Try again.
Thanks Brrrk, I put the close tag in there, it wouldn't take it...twice...weird.
gdiafante

If I could do that, I'd run for God.
It was a close call, brrrrk, the bye could score more, depends on the weather.
Bye 35 - Titans 3
I missed that. LOL
That is if the uniforms show up to play.
The bookies have it: Bye -69
I don't know, the Pats could only get 59...the bye doesn't have Tom Brady...
Famous last words: ''I wanted to feel like a winner''.
Gdia,
Granted you did prove he has kept some promises...but you have not refuted the promises I have mentioned that he did break.
The Bye has the ghost of Johnny Unitas.
Slacker, did you hear the "scoop" that John McClean said on the radio yesterday?
"If they don't win some games, and the effort isn't there, Fisher may be fired"
I had no idea!!
I think Fisher wants to be fired. He will get a buyout, and pity from the fans.
Nemo,
"If only chief's parents had been fixed"
Then there would be one less interesting person in the world and one less person willing to ask questions of this Administration.
Fortunately, my parents were God-fearing people and would never have considered such a thing.
Life if good!
"...but you have not refuted the promises I have mentioned that he did break."
Reading comprehension aside, I pointed out that (1) politicians never keep ALL their campaign promises, (2) he's been in office less than 12 months and (3) it doesn't matter because you are digging for something, anything, to criticize him. You are a troll.
Here ended the snack.
I have been hearing that rumbling for days now gdia. Fisher does not look very good on TV.
I'm changing my mind about these new teenage coaches, look at Denver.
I've always thought that Fisher was overrated. I wouldn't lose any sleep if he's fired, but at the same time, I have a fear that Dallas would hire him.
You are a computer program chief. You would not know the differance.
Well, they got ACORN again...worse, they got the lady the burned lying about what really happened.
Not a good day for ACORN.

You know Jerry probably would hire him, Fisher would know how to spin him.
Jerry could hang out, and be one of the guys.

Has anyone noticed how much chief likes to play with tiny nuts. Maybe he is a tiny homo?
I think Fisher would be a good defensive coordinator...he knows nothing about offense, never has. Unless you think dumping the ball to the tight end is offense.
Dallas has some offensive weapons, just don't have the coaching to use them correctly. Having Fisher as HC would be a regression...even from Wade Phillips.
I'd like to see Holmgren or Shanahan. They, I think, would finally get Romo going.
If Jerry hired Steve Sarkisian, he would be on to something, young, innovative guy.
Nemo,
Well, how homophobic of you! Hummm...must be projection working here.
But to put your mind at rest, I am not gay nor do I have any interest at all in the same sex.
I'd vote for Palin against Obama. Better a tug boat pulling in the right direction than a freight train pulling in the wrong direction.
Not that Obama is a freight train though... but he thinks he can, he thinks he can...
Yeah, he wouldn't be bad for Romo. That makes too much sense. Jones had the choice of Norv Turner and Wade Phillips...one of those coaches developed a young future HOFer named Troy Aikman...one has never won a playoff game.
Perfect choice. end sarcasm.
Not saying Turner is a good head coach, he's stinking in SD, but no doubt he would be better for Romo. So goes Romo, so goes the team.
Of course you would Ben, the stones said so. (No, not the band)
When Turner was coaching the Skins, a radio station in VA used to play a song called "Norv Turner Smokes the Peep".
This was not unexpected.
