I wonder if the Speaker(Lt. Governor) means such things as providing even
less in consumer protection laws, which are currently the fewest in the
nation, or less supervision by the state agencies currently charged with those
duties by state and federal laws! Most of these agencies have been
underperforming in those duties for many yrs. as well! While no enemy of
ethical business in this country, I also see no reason for building an "Alter" to
same on the Capitol grounds!!

I do hope that the NCP's very own "Koffee Klatch Kings" will call me from Star Bagel. We have the technology...the speaker phone mode will permit us to have some kind of real time verbal exchange. If you call just after 11:30 your time, I'll be doing the UU church coffee hour thing...it will dovetail nicely. Captain Nemo has my phone #, I got unlimited cellular.....BTW, do you like the acronym for Koffee Klatch Kings? It would look good on club T-shirts....leather jackets etc.

I've been posting here for years and I've often wondered what our posters actually look and sound like. I guess that's the attraction of a face-to-face sitdown in neutral territory.....let's face it, we all love one another, even our opponents, in this unique online community. It's what Marshal McLuhan predicted...the global village.

Why not invite Noseworthy, the webmaster at NCP....(last I knew, that is)...and Mike Burch too....heck, just invite the NCP staff to join in too. We could clear the air on HTML issues etc.

Moonglow1; Mr. Ramsey what corporations are creating jobs. It certainly isn't General Electric who paid no U. S. taxes yet received a $3 billion dollar refund from our government. And oh yeah that jobs thing. GE "brings good things to life" in China. Perhaps right here in TN Mr. Ramsey is employing "intelligent design" tactics to spur job development. Oh wait, perhaps Mae Beavers is working on job creation for birthers using that long form birth certificate. Saturday Night Live anyone: staring the TN Legislators & The Creationism Plan For Jobs. Pray Baby Pray. But don't forget to pass that collection box over to us Republicans now y'all.

This means a free for all for corporations, kill all science because it might hurt corporate interests, strip you of your right to collectively bargain to reduce costs to corporations, stack the Supreme Court with right wingers to allow corporations to give unlimited funding to tea party politicians, provide incentives to corporations to locate jobs outside of the U. S., allow companies to pollute by reducing regulations & funding of oversight, manufacture the housing crisis to cause gov't to fail through loss of revenue, take away the right to health care, house our population in corporate prisons (1 in 100) are in prison, thumb your nose at the Constitution & state laws (Scott Walker), & the list goes on & on & on. Probably the most critical is the brain washing of Americans by corporate media control.
