If anyone had any illusions that the Tea Party was an actual new political party, rather than a far-right wing of the Republican Party, [the opposition to the proposed Metro nondiscrimination bill] should put that to rest. When the anti-gay Family Action Council of Tennessee considers the Tea Party to be an ideological ally and calls the Tea Party for support, what does that tell you?
"This is simply big government politicians and social scientists imposing oppressive regulations on business owners that will only open the door to harassment lawsuits,” the email goes on to say. “Nobody in these issues wins except for the trial lawyers"
Is anyone fooled by this sophistry? The Family Action Council's opposition has nothing to do with concerns over business regulations or lawsuits. It has everything to do with trying to hold the line on the culture war and stall the day that government officially recognizes that gay people have civil rights that the government has standing to protect.

It's 7 degrees F here too, Darge...it's supposed to go up to 22 degrees today, depressingly cloudy all day long.....this is typical for Feb.

Speaking of Tea Party; yogi will make some outrageous post and I will ask for proof. He will then start the name calling and I will ask for proof. He then will say for me to prove him wrong, which I can’t do because he has not given me any proof of what his outrageous lie was in the first place.

My proof Obama/Soetoro is in that office illegally is the Constitution of the United States.
May I suggest you read the Constitution; Article II, Section 1, paragraph 5. It states:
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States,"
A natural born citizen must be born in the United States. Both parents must be American Citizens.
How can a man with a Kenyan father, who was under British rule, be determined to be a natural born citizen?
Upon questioning, Lamar Alexander wrote me stating Obama (if that is his name) had been investigated and found to be legally eligible. I never received an answer to my return question as to where they found that evidence and why it had not been passed on the the wondering citizens.
And by the way; it has been determined, by highly educated attorneys that John McCain wasn't legally eligible. So why did congress accept him? My argument? To hell with the people, we'll give them who we want them to have.

So you will know, I'm going to continue my argument until Obama presents his birth certificate to prove he is legally eligible for that office, whether you like it or not. If you don't, you can simply ignore any post I apply. Then you won't have to come up with a blabbered ridiculous each time.
Another question; why has Obama spent 2 million dollars keeping his records under lock and key? Is it because they will prove him to be illegal, or is he ashamed of who he is?

I agree. This will not be over until Mubarak is far enough away from Egypt to break the puppet strings. As long as he stays in Egypt I predict it will just be SSDD.

I read where he had taken his family and left Cairo. The article I read also stated the people were celebrating his departure. I presumed he was gone and wasn't coming back. Of course, based on the past, time will tell.

CNN sez Hosni is gone....looks like somebody peeled the right banana and the man is off to the resorts....let's hope that the Egyptian army slaps some kind of a hold on the man's bank accounts....they say his personal wealth is fabulous. After 30 years of siphoning off his percentage of US foreign aid (1.5 billion per year) one can be assured that he is frickin' loaded.
Let's say Hosin' Hosni siphoned of just one percent of the billion and a half every year for 30 years, according to my math, that would amount to 450 million USD. He probably skimmed off more than a measly one percent.
I wonder how much Hosni paid in Egytpian taxes.

Was the half-breed infant presented to the moon God as wailing tribesmen chanted a traditional blessing....all deep in some uncharted, steaming, African rain-forest.

Do you mean a copy of a "Certificate of Live Birth" issued by the state of Hawaii, which only shows his (supposed) date and time of his birth, his mother's maiden name and her race as Caucasian and his father's name and his race as African? If that is all you have, may I ask; when did African become a race?
If you have knowledge of any other facts, please show me what they are. And my I repeat my question; If he is in that office legally, why is he hiding all knowledge about himself? What is he ashamed of for us to know?

You see, Yogi, we all make typos, grammatical errors, omitted and/or repeated words etc. If you did not understand my posting advice, ask one of your grandkids to explain it, or better yet, Google the stuff you don't understand.
A URL is the online address of a webpage. It's the line, in the window near the top of your screen, that starts with: http:// (or something similar to that). To lift a URL from a page, just move your cursor over it and left click your mouse. This will highlight it.
Then you simply right click on your mouse, a window will come up. Move the cursor (arrow) down to "copy", (it will highlight) then left click the mouse to actually copy the URL.
Once you have that web address copied, you go back to the forum and paste it there, by simply doing a right click on your mouse. A window will come up. Move the cursor down to the "paste" line and then left click on it to paste the info down.
With a little practice, it becomes second nature.

May I continue my argument?
I heard his paternal grandmother, in an interview with a preacher, state she was in the room with his mother when he was born. She further stated she has never been out of Kenya. In that same interview the Kenyan ambassador stated they were working on his home as a monument in his honor.
I saw his wife, talking to a group of women make the statement "We went through Africa to his homeland of Kenya." Why would she lie like that?
I don't know about you but my homeland is Tennessee and if I was in Africa I would go through the United States to get here.

Yogi, that's hearsay evidence without any sources cited. To gain any credibility here, you will have to do better than that....that's just the way it is on these online newspaper forums. You have to earn respect for your opinions - it's not a given.
