Ms. [Yaël] Dayan, like her father [Moshe] in his latter years, has been a passionate speaker crusader for peace within Israel. Did her local presentation and Nashville Scene interview correctly portray her dad's total views on this subject? Maybe closely, but not necessarily totally. His quoted remark concerning the Golan Heights may have worked at one time, but there's no way those Heights being occupied now would be acceptable to Israel with Hamas running Syria. From there, even small mortars could view and shell a large portion of the population. For those that seek the destruction of Israel — and there are many in the U.S., and millions outside — rest assured that [Israel] will not be willing to be placed on an even military equivalency with any particular neighbor no matter the country or leader suggesting it. Nor should they.

Govskeptic and all those enthusiastic Israel lovers should convert to Judaism, make Aliyah to Israel as "lone soldiers" and join the over 500,000 ingrate Americans who have made the Jewish State their new home. Those Jewish Americans have retained their US citizenship and they still vote in our US elections, despite the dual citizenship - dual loyalty issues. Isn't that special?

Of course, if one is unfortunate enough to be a "Goy", (a gentile) then one can send Israel money to augment the US tax monies generously given to Israel, but as a non-Jew, one can't become a citizen of the Jewish State, or serve in its segregated military etc. they only want ethnic purity...similar to what the Nazis had in mind. It's unabashed Jewish supremacy, and anyone who complains is a "bigot".

AIPAC propagandists continually lie about how Israeli values and American values are identical. Israeli values do approximate the values of the Southern whites, before the Civil War and during the Jim Crow decades that followed. Israel's values are those of the Confederate States of America, not those of America today. As a result, non-Jewish support for the Jewish State is especially high among Southern racists.

Theodor Herzl, the father of Zionsm, predicted that the most racist nations would support his scheme, because they would wish to dump their unwanted Jews. He may have been right on that single point; he was wrong on just about everything else.

Holy Wars Suck.

"....many within the US seek the destruction of Israel..."
I totally disagree.
And "outside", well the Mid East hates America's guts and wants to destroy us too.
Hate just is alive in the world.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 6:12

Loner,

You are apparently one of the many Obama loving, Israel hating, citizens of the USA.

You, and others have ridiculed me for my comments about Obama's ineligibility to serve as President in our nation.

If he is legally eligible to serve as President, why has he kept his past so secretive, and why has two Kenyan newspapers identified him as a Kenyan born native in recent years?

A few years ago the 'Sunday Standard' headlined an article stating "Kenyan born Obama set for U.S. Senate".

And the newspaper titled 'The Nigerian Observer' stated in an article; "The Kenyan Senator will, however..."

Can you tell me what other Kenyan native named Obama, other than Barack Husein Obama, has held a US Senate seat and ran for president in the USA?

Didn't think so.

By: dargent7 on 5/31/11 at 6:21

"yogi": You are embarrassing yourself. No one on this bored agrees with your suppositions.
You quote Nigerian newspapers?
Why dont you get a satellite dish and listen to al-Jeezera?
Then go after Mitt Romney based on his father was born in Mexico and he's a Mormon which isn't a recognized Christian religion.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 6:49

dargent7,

I agree so many on this board are bored with my 'arguments'. Are the Kenyan newspapers wrong in their articles?

It is apparent you, and many others on this site do not know the meaning of the US Constitution's insistence of a person sitting in the President's office being a natural born US citizen.

And with the government sponsored education you all have, you don't care if they are or are not.

I do not know the details of Mitt Romney. I will look them up and will post my unbiased opinion. But I, as one, will not vote for him.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 7:00

dargent7,
It states Mitt Romney was born in Detroit MI on March 12, 1947. His mother was born in Logan, Utah, making her a US citizen.

His father was born in Mexico to American parents which would qualify him as a natural born citizen.

His parents were US citizens at his birth in Detroit.

I know that's hard for you to understand, dargent7, but sadly, on your part, he is a natural born citizen. Sorry, vote for someone else if you don't want him in that office.

Some people agree with him, D7. And Yogi appears to be wise and informed. It's a shame there can't be respectful dialogue on this site.

Sniffing the glue again, yogi? No one has said anything about hating Israel. And as far as you being ridiculed about Obama being ineligible, There have been a few conservatives that think you silly at best or just to dams stupid to get out of the rain.

Only a dumb-ass like bud would agree with yogi.

shb damn stupid

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 7:31

No, dumba..,

It takes a dumb ass like yourself to post the ridiculous ways you do.

dumba.., anyone can think of me, or anything else the way they do. But what is going to be their feeling when the facts come out? Are you, as one, going to feel like a damn fool that you couldn't understand the obvious details?

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 7:34

dumba..,

I'm sure I'm 'seen' as stupid in that little pea you have in the left side of your skull, but I would be delighted to take an IQ test with you at any time..., even with the half brain I have.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 7:37

dumba..,

You make the comment; "only a dumb-ass like bud would agree with yogi."

May I offer a correction? Only a dumb-ass like yourself would disagree with yogi.

yogi-

Now if you are calling me the dumb-ass, then I do not agree with what you are saying. However if you are calling yourself the dumb-ass, then you are agreeing with yourself.

I hope this clears up your confused state of mind.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 7:52

Thanks for the comment, budlight. You might want to read some of the posts I made yesterday about our current situation.

And, yeah. Several of these on this site accuse me of being a racist which nothing could be further from the truth.

But, then, if I was as much of a racist as Barack & Michelle Obama, I wouldn't feel bad.

Ah well, gotta go get some parts for my tractor.

Ok, this is like 8th grade science. Maybe 5th grade.
Either it is lawful for a presidential candidate to be eligible if he/ she was born, "on US soil", or not.
Either, it makes NO difference if the parents are from Egypt, Antarcia, Newfoudland, Nova Scotia, or Greenland, if the child (from the mother's womb) is born on "US soil".
It's "Yes", or "No". It's not like an adoption, where it get's complicated.
Let's argue about Global Warming...it's going to be 95deg. all week.

Yogi, we must admit to ourselves that D7, Brrrrk, Capt. and Loner are the smartest people on the planet. Ya, ya, ya, ya, LMBO and RAITDDI! (translated rolling around in the dirt doing it). I would love to meet them in person at, let's say, an Obama fundraiser - $50 and under a plate - that would be paper plates! Then we could smooze and just be one of "them" for a while to try and learn how they think. It would be a scientific experiment which could actually shed some light on the liberal, right wing, nut case, hating everyone brain -- or the lack thereof.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 9:48

No, dargent7,

You still don't seem to understand what you are posting.

Read carefully; the presidential candidates must be born to parents who are BOTH U.S. citizens. If only one of the child's parents is a U.S. citizen, that child only becomes a natural born citizen, not natural born. Simply being born on US soil does not make them a natural born citizen.

If that was the case, a woman from anywhere in the world could sneak into the USA illegally, have a baby and go back to her homeland. That child could then be raised to hate the United States and return at the age of 35 to become the president of this nation.

dargent7, what section of that cornfield was you raised it?

Damn bud, can't you at least afford a mattress?

By: budlight on 5/31/11 at 9:49

Yogi, I just pulled my turnip truck up to my lovely garden; picked my first real harvest of blueberries and some raspberries. Got some mint; came in and made raspberry-mint tea. It's awesome. Blueberries are plump and good. Picked 3 artichokes; will cook them for dinner tonight with a tomato in some home made tomato/artichoke spaghetti sauce. Yummy.

I have squash, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers and tons of herbs. Can't wait till 30 more days. My garden is usually later, but it sticks around till late September, early October producing veggies. Yummy!

Going to the Y now to work out. Have a nice day. Be kind to the heartless posters. It will pay off in the long run with you coming out ahead in the game. Nice pays. Ugly slays!

By: brrrrk on 5/31/11 at 9:54

consider this....

"Andrew Jackson (1829-1837) is the only president born of two immigrants, both Irish. Presidents with one immigrant parent are Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809), whose mother was born in England, James Buchanan (1857-1861) and Chester Arthur (1881-1885), both of whom had Irish fathers, and Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) and Herbert Hoover (1929-1933), whose mothers were born respectively in England and Canada."

Damned illegals....

By: bfra on 5/31/11 at 10:17

LOL brrrrk!

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 10:18

brrrrk,

You posted the presidents parents were born in foreign nations, but you did not post that those parents had not became naturalized citizens. Did they, or didn't they?

If those parents had become naturalized citizens before those men were born, then those men were natural born citizens, making them eligible to hold that office. If only one parent was an American citizen, they would not have been eligible.

Please study civics a little bit more.

Maybe you folks need to go back to Grammar school and take an old civics lesson. I'm wondering if you ever took a class in civics when you were in school.

You sure didn't read the Constitution.

By: brrrrk on 5/31/11 at 10:32

yogi,

I just threw that out there to see you have another hissy fit. Hey, did you know there's a black man in the White House?

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 10:37

No, brrrrk. I thought that was a white man in the White House.

By: revo-lou on 5/31/11 at 10:55

We know yogi, unless he wanted to join your country club or date your daughter.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 11:32

First, revo_lou,

I don't "belong" to a country club. Has never been my nature. Second, my daughters picked who they wanted to date, not I. They were the ones who had to live with it, not I.

I guided, and advised them through their childhood, and didn't "order" them when they reached their mature stages in life.

I did give a valuable lessons in their childhood, my son included.

Just wondering; what did your children learned from you, revo_lou? Mine never talk to me on the phone and hang up without saying 'I love you, daddy'. Being in their 50s I presume they aren't lying to me.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 11:37

looks like you hit a nerve, revo.

yogi, they'll start telling you "i love you, daddy" a lot more the older you get. the vultures start circling at your age.

By: revo-lou on 5/31/11 at 11:39

Really, yogi, I don't think age has anything to do with lying. There has never been an age at which I though my children were lying, to me or anyone else, because that is the way they were raised.

And, I am sure you are capable enough to get the drift of my point. Well, then again maybe not.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 11:41

i doubt he'd catch a wave let alone a drift.

By: revo-lou on 5/31/11 at 11:43

Be careful beer, you don't want the wrath of yogi on you. Just ask boo-boo.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 11:48

lol! i'm no boo-boo, that's for sure.

By: DREIFMA on 5/31/11 at 11:54

This should never have happened. We fell for the British promise to the Zionists, get the US in WWI and We will give you Palestina. No matter we promised it to the Arabs too. When Hitler spoke of being stabbed in the back, he referres to the Zimmerman Telegram that told Mexico if the US joins the French and the English in the War against us, we will help you get the stolen territories back from the US. Zionists in the German high command made sure the Brits knew what that coded telegram said. Hence our entry in WWI. The Brits and French carved up the middle east into the abortion it is now and have left us to resolve all the problems. Region solutions to regional problems should be our policy, except we provided the Zionists with nuclear weapons. Sad very Sad. Not in our name should be what all Americans should be saying now.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 12:00

The Zimmerman Telegram was a desperate attempt on the part of Germany.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 12:46

I'm not wrathey, revo_lou, I just consider the source and ignore the stupid remarks.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 12:54

wrathey? must be a word from yogi's personal dictionary of stupid remarks.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 1:41

Sorry Beermazi, I haven't been able to look very deep into your ignorance yet. By the dictionary I use, 'wrathy' is a colloquialism of the word wrathful.

You are wrathful if you permit some idiot to make you angry by exposing their ignorance.

Wrath is: 1. Intense anger; rage.
2. Any anger carried out in intense anger, especially for punishment or vengeance. ie, see anger.

Sorry, I didn't intend to expose your ignorance.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 1:44

well, perhaps if you spelled correctly you wouldn't expose your own ignorance.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 1:47

so, does that make you wrathey, wrathy or wrathful?

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 2:00

Where did I misspell? And if you was able to read that which is written you might be able to understand that I posted I am not wrathy.

I just consider the source and ignore their arragant ignorance; you included.

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 2:02

read your own posts and you will see where you misspelled.

By: yogiman on 5/31/11 at 1:46
I'm not wrathey, revo_lou, I just consider the source and ignore the stupid remarks.

btw, what is "arragant?"

By: brrrrk on 5/31/11 at 2:02

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 2:03

another entry from yogi's personal dictionary of stupid remarks? does that book come with pictures, too?

By: revo-lou on 5/31/11 at 2:41

Has anyone else noticed that yogi's post become more belligerent as the day wears on? Too many 12oz curls?

By: Beernazi on 5/31/11 at 2:49

revo, you have to use smaller words for him or at least provide a definition.
