Remember Ford

Sometimes, especially in campaign years, the idea of public service can be so far removed from the practice of politics that the two seem almost oxymoronic.

With that in mind, the entire country should be grateful that, for a time, we were served by a true public servant, Gerald Ford.

Ford, who died Tuesday at the age of 93, served as the nation
