U.S. Senator Bob Corker ( R-Tenn.) is cosponsoring bipartisan legislation to prevent the use of Justice Department funds to prosecute Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and the 9/11 conspirators in federal court. The legislation, sponsored by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) currently has 18 co-sponsors. Here are Sen. Corker's comments:
“Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other al-Qaida terrorists should not be given the same rights as American citizens, and they should not be tried in a federal court.
“Congress responded to the 9/11 attacks by authorizing the use of military force and by developing a military commission system to detain enemy combatants and try those who violate the laws of war.
"Military commissions provide a fair standard of justice, reflect the true status of these terrorists according to U.S. and international law, and are the proper venue for the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks.”
D7 - But the wine tasting is fun, especially when Kix Brooks is serving and he is cute, too! But, unlike some, he is too young for me & also has a lovely family. I have been once when the whole family was there.
bfra is a home wrecker...
The Taylor Swift groupies are giving me a headache over at the other paper.
"She IS a great singer and songwriter and the best role model EVER!!!! Blah, blah, blah..."
You can't fix these people.
so they're stuck on stupid.
And apparently, their inner teeny-boppers are calling the shots today.
i personally don't think taylor is all that swift.
pain - I said he is too young for me! That being said, neither am I looking!
i flipped a coin and it said beer, not zumba.
bfra, scenery never hurts! lol
Local government at its finest.
You won the lottery with that coin toss, Blanket.
bfra: Never mind House, he's been stuck in the lab with those mice too long.
Arrington has a great wine tasting room. Very pricey, but classy.
I should know, I think the movie "Sideways" was based on me.
It ain't Mondavi, but in Tenn., it'll do.
house, i think i'm going to start flipping one of those poker chips you get at happy hour. that way i can stack the deck.
Blanket - Oh I enjoy the scenery! Very much
bfra, ever hear the House Foundation do their "Roommates" bit?
"What are you gonna wear tonight?"
"I'm gonna wear my Brooks & Dunn shirt! What are you gonna wear?"
"I'm gonna wear my...duster!"
even before the wine, bfra? lol
Good prop, Blanket...you could be like Two Face, from Batman.
lol, house!
for some reason you can't bring beer into the gym. tight asses.
pain - Haven't heard that one! But my all time favorite by Brooks & Dunn is "Boot Scootin Boogie" (sp not sure). They are both good but Dunn has a beautiful voice.
"...the gym."..."tight asses." Ha!
lol....i made a funny!
I wonder if d7 has ever had any Brass Monkey...
that funky monkey.
I'd like to find some just to see if it's good, or if I just have fond memories of being 16.
At 16 I moved on up from Gin to "Boone's Farm"..apple. In Detroit we had to slum it.

This is all a scam they will never be tried in civilian court because then they could talk and the last thing the goverment wants is for people to hear the truth. It is all a white wash and we know it.Puts it out there and lets the two parties fight it out and then they can wash it under the rug and say look we got the guy now lets all move on and be scared of the lasted staged event like the underware bomber.Yea it comes out in the detiort free press that the goverment lets him on the plane and he is working for them.I mean come on how stupid do they think we are.I know some of you who don't look into anything and only beleive what you are told will just be all on it and love being body scanned.Good for you but not me I will look at the facts.
