The Woodland Street Bridge will be closed to regular traffic at 8:30 a.m. today due to the 11 a.m. Music City Bowl football game between Auburn and Wisconsin.
The bridge will be open only to pedestrians and shuttle bus traffic until the game ends. Pedestrians can also use the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge to reach the Coliseum from downtown.
With more than 50,000 expected to attend the game, Metro Police and Public Works will use the same traffic management plan used for Titans games.
Gates at the Coliseum will open at 9 a.m. Coliseum parking lots will open at 7 a.m. to football fans with parking passes.
Only vehicles with parking passes will be allowed to park at the Coliseum. Parking passes are available for $15 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center Visitor
