The 2001 Volvo S60 - a Swedish joy ride

Once upon a time Volvos had shapes first drawn out on an Etch-A-Sketch then modeled with blocks of ice cut from a frozen lake with a chain saw.

Then someone in the Volvo styling studio must have looked out the window, saw the lovely young girls of Sweden and in a flight of fancy translated their graceful beauty into a graceful car.

It must've happened on a warm day because those legendary blue-eyed, fair-haired Scandinavian princesses spend most of the year bundled in so many layers of coats, sweaters and fur-lined boots you can never be quite sure of their gender
