Tuscany food and wine pairs up at Viking

Join Sylvia Harrelson of Cibo tonight as she pairs wines with foods from Tuscany at the Viking Culinary Arts Center. Neopolitan tomatoes, sugo crudo, Italian cheese and biscotti vin rough are some of the foods she will be testing with different wines. The class is $55 and begins at 6:30 p.m. The Viking Culinary Arts Center is located at The Factory at Franklin, Building 13, 230 Franklin Road. Call 599-9617 to sign up for the class.

Artists collaborate at Film House

Artists Karen Hirschowitz Engel, Trish Tallon-Blanchard and Laura Young, all Nashville artists from similar non-objective watercolor backgrounds, will display their combined works for the first time ever at the Film House. The Film House is a Nashville-based production company located in a startlingly unique building set up to showcase local artisans. The collection includes over 30 pieces of watercolor, acrylic and pastel work. The exhibit is located at 810 Dominican Drive, and admission is free to the public. Call 255-4000 for more information. The show will remain through November 30.
