DVDs present clear choice

New DVDs for the films Pollock, Snatch and The Art of War provide fans with crystal-clear content choices.

Pollock (Sony) is a wonderfully directed and filmed biographical work on a master artist tormented by his inner demons his entire life.

British director Guy Ritchie followed up the highly praised Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels with Snatch (Screen Gems), another ensemble work that takes the audience inside, possibly too inside, the London gangster underground.

The Art of War (Warner Bros) features Westley Snipes at his martial arts best, but has almost nothing else to recommend to anyone except hardcore action fans.

Ed Harris earned dual Oscar nominations, though did not win, as actor and director for Pollock, a movie that won
