Fifth and Main — the hyper-contemporary residential building that serves as a gateway to East Nashville — will be the site of a new outdoor summer concert series called Fame at Fifth and Main, with the first installment slated for Thursday, June 23.
The monthly showcase will celebrate Nashville’s songwriting history and feature local singers, songwriters and musicians spanning a variety of genres. Attendees can enjoy happy hour drink and appetizer specials on the patio of Allium restaurant, Fifth and Main’s anchor retail tenant.
To kick off the series, American Idol finalist Ayla Brown will perform Thursday, accompanied by an acoustic group. Singer/songwriters Quinn Loggins, Michelle René and Claire Stahlecker will each perform a selection of songs in the writers round.
Fame at Fifth and Main will be held the fourth Thursday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m., beginning June 23 and running through Sept. 22. The building is located at 501 Main Street at the intersection of Fifth Street.
