Adoption (Hallmark Channel, 7 p.m.) is the first original series from the Hallmark Channel, and it chronicles real-life dramas involving adoption. The superb film Shrek (HBO, 7 p.m.) earned an Oscar last year for Best Animated Feature. Jurassic Park III (Starz, 7 p.m.) was a better effort than the second film in the series, but still a pale imitation of the original movie.
