Happenings at the Hermitage

Cedar trees lost in the 1998 tornado will be replanted this fall so the carriage entrance way will once again be lined with the trees.

The Master Gardeners of Davidson County are currently planting and maintaining a vegetable garden at the Hermitage. It is the first time in 112 years the Hermitage Garden has had a vegetable and herb garden. Often, guests visiting with tour groups are invited to share in the harvest.

For the first time in several years, The Hermitage will sell cuttings from many of the varieties of roses in Rachel
