Grammy-award-winning artist George Winston is known most widely for his soothing, impressionistic solo piano material. But over the course of nearly three decades of performing as a Windham Hill recording artist, he has developed into a truly versatile interpreter of music.

Growing up in the eastern portion of Montana, first in Miles City and then in Billings, Winston was surrounded by the natural beauty of the Great Plains from the barrenness of winter to the blaze of spring.
