Take a lonely Hobo into your home

Hobo, like the legendary characters he was named for, is a dog with a sordid past.

A 3-year-old cockapoo, Hobo was found over the Fourth of July weekend this summer near Old Hickory Lake. He was covered in mud, soaking wet and exhausted. Those who found him theorize he fell off a boat and struggled to shore, living in the woods until he was rescued.

After searching for an owner for several weeks, the rescuers brought Hobo to the attention of the Animal Care Taskforce of Nashville (ACT Now), where he now waits to be readopted while residing with a foster owner.

Since arriving to ACT Now, Hobo has been cleaned up and brushed out, and his true personality has shown through. This is both good and bad. Apparently, Hobo is an abused dog, most likely by children. He has shown aggressive tendencies towards all kids and teen-agers at adoption visits, but none towards adults.

In fact, around adults he is a near perfect dog. Hobo
