Following back-to-back runner-up finishes Brandt Snedeker set a tournamet record with a four-round total of 19-under and won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Sunday.

Snedeker’s seven-under 65 was the second-best final round score (Bryce Molder shot a 64 and tied for 12th) but was enough to get him his first title of 2013.

The 32-year-old Nashville native has won twice in his last five regular tour events, including the 2012 Tour Championship. That one lifted him to the FedEx Cup championship. This one gave him almost twice as many points (1,282) as second place Brian Gay (700) in the current FedEx Cup standings.

He also climbed to fourth in the world rankings with his fourth top three in five 2013 starts.

“Feels great to finish one,” Snedeker said, according to “The last two weeks, playing great but running into two Hall of Famers, really motivated me to go out and prove that I can handle the lead.”

He finished tied for second to Tiger Woods at the Farmers Insurance Open two weeks ago and last week was second to Phil Mickelson at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He opened the season with a third-place finish at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.

He has posted 10 straight rounds of 69 or better, including 66, 68, 68 and 65, respectively, this week. Kevin Stadler, who finished tied for third, was the only other player to shoot sub-70s in every round at the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Snedeker was tied for the lead through three rounds but opened with an eagle and three birdies in the first seven holes. His 10-foot birdie putt at No. 17 effectively clinched his fifth career PGA Tour victory.

I am so happy the PGA put the muzzle on Bill Murray's antics at this event.

I really enjoyed watching Brandt this weekend! Hope he wins some majors and wins the championship again. Brandt, Titans, Preds Sounds, Dores, Blue Raiders, Bruins, Bisons, and Tigers making Nashville proud!

Oh, and I thought Bill Murray was funny as always!

By the way, the reason you thought Bill was funny is because your taste in humor is about as low as your net worth.

TITAN1 would think comedy genius would be Jerry Seinfeld staring at a golf ball saying, "Dimples, what is the deal with that?"

I actually like Seinfield, the sitcom, but his stand up isn't very funny IMO. I really do like Bill Murray's antics in the Pro-Ams and I really like his movies, "Stripes" "Ghostbusters" I & II, etc.
