The Tennessee Titans stayed on the defensive side of the ball with their second fourth-round pick Sunday, grabbing North Carolina's Michael Waddell.

Waddell, a 5-10, 187-pound cornerback, also excels on special teams, where he was the NCAA's leading kick returner for the Tar Heels a year ago. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.37.

Waddell, the 124th pick overall, joins Penn State's Rich Gardner as the Titans' second cornerback selected in the 2004 draft.
