Defending national champion LSU had 14 players selected to the 2008 coaches’ preseason all-Southeastern Conference football team released Monday.

Florida was the only other SEC team with double figure selections with 10. There were first, second and third-teams selected for this year’s squad.

Vanderbilt cornerback D.J. Moore is a first-team pick. Tennessee safety Eric Berry, linebacker Rico McCoy, offensive lineman Anthony Parker and running back Arian Foster also received first-team recognition.

Ole Miss offensive lineman Michael Oher, Arkansas center Jonathan Luigs and Mississippi State defensive back Derek Pegues were repeat first-team selections from the 2007 Coaches Pre-Season all-SEC team.

Coaches could not vote for players on their own teams.
