Vanderbilt coach Robbie Caldwell is offering an early August fix for the football-starved Black and Gold faithful.

Commodores' fans will have an opportunity for an early look at the 2010 football team when Caldwell opens up two practices to the public.

Fans can attend preseason practice on Sunday and Monday. Both workouts will be held at the John Rich Practice Facility. Sunday’s practice will begin at 4:15 p.m. Monday’s kicks off at 6 p.m.

Vanderbilt’s preseason camp begins Friday.

Caldwell hopes fans will share his excitement at the start of preseason, and his head coaching tenure, by taking advantage of the open practices.

"I expect a lot of our followers to come out and see how we are looking," Caldwell said. "I hope all of our fans are just as excited about getting started with the preseason as I am."
